What would it be and how would you use it?
Personally, mine would be time manipulation. I wouldn't need a car to get anywhere, and I could get all the games I want.

Yeah, time powers are one of the best. If it was something more conventional, then I would like to be able to fly at the speed of light, which would give the same sort of effect as time manipulation.

kinda depends if everybody else has powers or is it just me.

If I'm the only person with powers, alchemy (turn plastic to gold, water to oil, coals to diamond, etc)

I was going to say Super Speed but time manipulation has that and much more. I'd also like to have teleportation. Body Sliding is too cool. But I'd probably pick those for fun. If I really had to choose one it would be indestructibility.

Healing powers a la Wolverine, so I wouldn't have to worry about dying anytime soon.

Time control sounds good. It pretty much trumps any other superpower, since if you're in a fight with another superpowered person you can just freeze time and then prepare a way to win. The only problem is that it can lead to paradoxes that lead to the whole universe collapsing, which isn't good. I'd be too worried about doing something like that to ever use it. So I'd guess I'd have invisibility. That sounds pretty cool too.

Actually, you would grow older since you're body is still living and not stuck in time like everybody else (I'm assuming thats how you're using the power), so if you say wait a year and ten continue, you would be one year older while everybody stayed the same age.

Think Simpson's halloween episode way back then where Bart and Milhouse found a stopwatch that stopped time. Of course they broke the watch with time stopped, and it took them 20 years to get the watch working again. In that time, everybody that was stuck in time stayed the same age, but Bart and Milhouse had aged.

Time manipulation like you, but more along the lines of my breathing controlling time like that dude in DBZ but not as completely illogical and stupid.  Basically, as far as the rest of the world is concerned, I am percieved to always be breathing at the same rate.  Time slows and speeds up for me to accomidate that and make it seem like it's always the same.  I breathe slower and time slows down, I breathe faster and time speeds up.  I wouldn't be able to stop time (the physics of that don't make any sense anyway and as is common knowledge, even when you "hold" your breath, at least a little air is escaping).  By the logic of that, I would also get a full nights sleep in about two hours.

Mind control, definaltely mind control.

I have asked myself this question many times... I know, it's silly.  But If I could choose a power it would be the power of super fast flight.  So many uses, travel, recreation, financial gain, sports.  I could see myself using it to pull a backside 1,800 on a snowboard.  Take big air to a whole new level.

To be able to fly, denitely.

Common Sense.

Healing powers, invisibility and to walk through things would all be awesome.

I doubt I would want a superpower no matter how cool it looks. It might seem all so cool and flashy in the movies and games but I am sure that there comes a huge responsibility and burden (or as they say "With every blessing comes a curse") which I don't think I would like to take. I would rather be human. ;)

Yeah real life doesn't have any overdramatic consequences for having superpowers. You are not going to have your uncle killed or the space/time continuum ripped from using your superpowers.

Immortality... Some might look at living for a long time to be a bad thing. But the way i look at it, life is too short and it never seems like i have enough time to do anything.

If I had to pick a more "fly", "teleportation", etc.  one probably time manipulation.  I screw up so much.  And that includes age manipulation, speed, time travel, etc.

Agreed. If you can manipulate time, you're essentially unstoppable, unless you're a total air-head like Hiro Nakamura.

Super Agility. I wouldn't want it to be too unrealistic. Just enough that it would be flippin awesome. :D

Time manipulation would be sweet, but so much could go wrong.
