I've been playing Honda since Street Fighter 2, but am not nearly as awesome as a bunch of people. Currently, I'm only Rank C with something like 1200 points in Super, and lose more often than I'd like. Anyone else in here main Honda?
I mentioned this in my review, but wanted to see what you all thought. At the current time, the Amazon.com description of Alan Wake reads the following:
Explore an Entire Town The town of Bright Falls is 100 square kilometers, and players will be able to roam through this incredibly detailed area any way they like, roaming the town or wandering out to the lakes, forest, satellite towns, and more. The game gives the player goals, but how he chooses to go about completing them is up to him. Clues are scattered throughout the town, and solving mysteries will require players to pay close attention to the little details.
This just is NOT true at all, as Alan Wake is completely linear. At one time, Remedy did indeed say it was going to be an open world title, but their game changed multiple times over the long dev cycle. Does it bother you that they are promoting it that way? Did you think it was an open world game before reviews started hitting?
In my many years, I've never watched Doctor Who, but started watching at the beginning of this season when the "new Doctor" started up. I've gotta say, this show rocks. Quirky and funny, plus it's sci-fi. Any other fans out there?
My ME2 review is gone... but the first paragraph of it still appears on my reviewed lists in my profile. Considering my review was featured a few days ago, I'd like to read the comments I received and cant.
Everyone is just geeking out on Schafer... I really don't quite know what the appeal is either to be honest. I guess we'll find out this ROCKTOBER if its any good or not.
I've got a daughter, she's just over three and enjoys playing games on Playhouse Disney.com. Additionally, she likes playing a few DS titles that we have... particularly the two Diego titles (Safari and Dinosaur), Dora saves the mermaids, and The Wonder Pets save the animals. The problem with all the other games we've tried is that they require the player to read, which while we're working on together, she's far from being literate. The titles I just mentioned all use voice to convey what they want you to do, as well as words in certain spots.
Do you know of any other games like these that I could pick up?
