I was going to post in this topic when it was one page long, but I procrastinated. So I' m a little late.

Also, the very act of writing this is an act of procrastination. So it all comes full circle.

I've already posted in this thread but darnit, I'm posting again.

I also own a physical copy of Radiant Silvergun for the Sega Saturn - if that's not a video game "treasure" then I don't know what is! Ha, get it? Treasure? Yea? Okay fine I'm going now.

Wish I had a better picture of this, unfortunately my good camera has suddenly decided to stop working. So you get a craptastic phone pic instead.

I own TONS of cool stuff. This is something I'm proud of, though. I own eight copies of Lunar: The Silver Star for Sega CD. I custom framed them all with a copy of the instruction manual in the middle and hung it on my wall.

If you're not sure why anyone would own eight copies of a single game, the website below actually details the history of Victor Ireland's insane collector's mentality in the golden age of Working Designs' tenure.  Of note in the link, I also own all the Dragon Force variants, all of the Alundra variants, and all of the Magic Knight Rayearth variants. And that doesn't even scratch the surface of my collection... but that's a story for a different thread. :)

I'll also try to get a better photo.

Glad to help :) That cartoon was done by John K, of Ren & Stimpy fame, which kind of explains the grossness.

Some factors that may have contributed to the slow start:

The original DS came out in 2004 and sold out on the spot day one. Then, six months passed before any worthy software hit the shelves. I think (or would like to think) that game buyers are getting more savvy about this fact and holding off until the shelves fill up.

As a further point, the original DS came out while its predecessor, the GBA SP, was still in full swing. If you check sales charts, it does appear that the DS is on a decline right now, so there's not as much forward momentum driving this launch.

Similarly the original DS launched in November, a traditionally busy time for hardware sales. March hasn't seen the launch of many devices (granted the PSP's launch in 2005 was a March launch, but that handheld was a completely new competitor).

The great thing is, if you follow the original DS's 6 month game delay, that would put the 3DS's heavy game slate to hit in the fall, when the systems may end up being harder to find. By that logic, picking one up now while hype is low may actually work to your advantage by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.

For the record, I have gotten Motionjoy to work at time in the past, but sometimes installing the drivers gives me a fair amount of trouble. I'm not saying it gives EVERYONE trouble, but be forewarned, installation may end up being a pain in the ass.

That said, once you get Motionjoy working, it really does rock hard.

Good morning Bombers,

A couple Happy Hours ago, Giantbomb announced Roku support, which struck me as interesting seeing as I have a Roku sitting around that I was hardly using. Lo and behold, I found the Whiskey channel and started watching videos on my TV, and life has been slightly better since.

Unfortunately it looks like the frontend is not actually finished, and I can't find anywhere to put in a name and password. Thusly, I can't get the HD feeds or subscriber-only content (Happy Hours) to my television just yet.

Has anyone out there with a Roku (all five of you) been able to get this to work yet? Or is this functionality still in the pipeline?
