This is legitimately one of the saddest days ive had in a while. I know most of us never got to meet the man, but alot of us have been following him for over a decade and knowing we'll hear him again on a weekly basis is absolutely devastating. My heart aches for you big man, you'll be someone I never ever forget. RIP Ryan...
While you really couldn't have called it that long ago; while watching the early episodes of the DF doc, it felt like that game would take a while. Game development isn't easy and considering Tim and the team had no idea what the game would actually be when they initially got the money, so it's not hard to believe that there was a bit of snag in determining it's scale. I'm truthfully fine with them taking the time and doing what they need to get the game they have envisioned out, even if the initial path they chose led them to a road block.
It's impossible to think positively of the Wii U until there are games out there to play for it. I'd love to have an excuse to pick one up, but the longer we wait the less affinity I'll have for the idea to own one. There isn't a lot of lustre for the console for me and until they get over this assumption that they can effectively put out the same games generation after generation and assume we'll come for it is foolish. I want Nintendo to succeed, I think we all do, but I just can't justify that purchase for a while.
I don't know if I'm the only one, but it seems like every couple hours I'm losing all of my progress and am forced to go through the 'getting started' tutorial and start a whole other city over again. It's really getting frustrating and was hoping somebody else has encountered this and knows a work around for it. I've tried jumping in and out of servers that I know I've played and can't find my city; is this all because my city didn't sync server side before I quit playing my previous sessions or what's going on here?
