Well sorry for the WALL of text, but damnit, this really sucks. I do not want to see publishers putting older games on xbox GoD service for forty bones.
@canucks23: I "hear" ya, but I feel this should be the first resort for gamers on xbox to try out games that they normally would have not bought. Personally it gives me hope that buying games on Live will give some of the developers a bit of cash for games that I might no have tried out originally, and I'm not buying a used game from effing Gamestop. But, in this case, I would say go buy a cheaper used copy because paying forty bucks for this game right now is going to piss you off to no end when you can only experience part of the game without anger(meaning trying to play MW:1 online as a noob).

CALL OF DUTY $(4): MODERN WARFARE! It is forty dollars on xbox live. It is forty dollars to download a digital copy of a game put out that already has a sequel. For only twenty dollars more you can have part two. This really feels like a complete rip-off for the first game. Sure, great experience, if you have not played the first and enjoyed the seconds story, gameplay, characters, whatever then play this. But what in the hell are you going to do online against the droves of people out there playing MW 1from day one? If you are new to the franchise the online is going to suck like crazy. Albeit if you are amazing at online shooters you probably won't have a problem, but, I would think that most people picking this game up now are doing so for the story so they can understand, uh..... yeah.... sure understand, the craziness going on in part 2. I love me some COD:MW2 single and multi-player, I have been playing it on the pc like crazy. But I feel really disgusted when I log into Live and see all of these five star ratings for this game. YES, it is a five star game but not the price. Please if you have an xbox account please rate this game at one star, we(meaning us livers who love to download games) should never pay forty big ones for a game we are only going to get a part of the experience. There is no need, want, or even curiosity for me to take that game online anymore. Please, PLEASE, do not promote any forty dollar games on this download service, especially ones that I will not be able to get the full experience from because I was not an early adopter. Sorry for the drunken ramble, to much Jack and looking at the prices of these games.
@Rhaknar: Yeah no Last Guardian is such a big bummer. That first trailer really made me hope they were a bit further along than they probably are or maybe they are holding it and making it "perfect". Well, maybe we'll see something later.
So, you'll pay $120 a year to bring the PS3 UI up to a point where it should be just by default? I had the same thing happen to me when I finally got LBP, but my thought wasn't "gee I wish I could pay them a monthly fee not to have this problem," it was "someone at Sony should be fired for thinking this is an okay way to design their UI." "
Don't think I can afford to pay $10 a month plus XBL yearly fee and WoW for $15 a month. Yeah I would need a second job to play games and that is just crazy.
So now that Fable 2 is a bit on the cheap side on X-box Live will anyone be picking it up for the first time? Just wondering if it caught anyone's attention. Actually playing through it again myself since it's been some time.
