"I was never a fan of RTS games before...but SCII has made me one now.  Love it. "

That is awesome to read, I really do hope a number of players that would normally never give a game of this type a chance will give it a go as it is a really fantastic game. I'm not a great RTS player but SCII is doing a great job of ramping up the difficulty and throwing more options at me and yet it still does not feel overwhelming. Here is to hoping it does not take three years for an expansion.

@Feanor:
I think WoW has actually become quite a bit more playable with the changes they have added, and Cataclysm looks to further expand the world they have created to be much more accessible to newbies and old salts alike. But hating change is natural I guess.

@Tarsier:
You're telling me you've never had a console hard lock on you? Bad Company 2 on the PS3 has done that to me at least three times now. Hell, Puzzle Quest 2 just did it a few days ago on the Xbox. I've run into quite a few problems in my life with console games.

Sure I would agree that it happens more often on a PC, but think about the crap ton of mothernoards, soundcards, graphics cards etc that a company has to test for on the PC compared to a closed system that is the console. Not disagreeing with you, but as consoles become more and more complex, I'm thinking you are going to start seeing a lot more games coming out on a console that will have to be patched for some issue.

@RJay_64:  Never worked in the service industry have ya? It varies between states but for example I get paid $2.15 an hour. You tell me if you think I could pay my bills on that salary without getting tipped.

@FiestaUnicorn:  I cannot more heartily agree with you, if I have not gone and picked it up at a store yet, then by all means give it to me at price I won't buy it used.

@LeetBalla: Thank you for the link! Did not realize the price was still that much for the original everywhere, didn't do my homework I guess. Still, very disappointing to see a download service charging this much for a product that is not physical, I'm thinking my bigger issue is there and not just this game.
