Very very nice to actually get that whole story straight out like that, I pretty much knew everything already but like you said Jeff, it was blown way out of proportion! Always more to it, isn't it... Glad you guys made this move! Congrats!
Blizzard needs to get their heads out of their asses and let it go. The more I read about them, the less respect I gain from them, and I had loads once upon a time. Maybe I'll just skip Diablo 3 if they remain this silly. Where did my awesome, innovative game company go?
iPhone gaming has killed the portable platform for me. No longer am I going to lug around multiple devices when I can just get a quick fix from my phone. The only thing that could bring me back to a dedicated handheld are the great first party exclusives and even then I'd just be playing them while laying in bed before I go to sleep. At that point I might as well turn on my console.
This, unless you really travel a lot and I mean, fly, take the train etc. for several hours every month, there is NO reason to buy a handheld gaming system. I got all I need on my android phone.
Skyrim is by far the best game that came out this year. Even though I love this shit out of Battlefield 3 as well. In fact, Skyrim is one of the few games these last few years that actually managed to suck me in completely. Games hardly seem to do that anymore to me. And it feels freaking awesome. I don't see any other game coming near Skyrim for a GOTY award.
It's really good to see this game getting some recognition by the main stream audience.
