I do find it a bit unsettling that there's really been no PC game play footage. WB publishing this and cdkeys selling it so cheap makes me even more nervous that the PC version may be botched. I'm still buying this day one on Steam to support Avalanche even if it's a mistake.

I do believe that the PC version is going to be great based on Avalanche's past PC versions being very well optimized and having everything you'd want in a PC game. Here's hoping Avalanche can keep their streak of great PC ports with Mad Max. Really looking forward to playing it, and hope it's a mix between Just Cause and Renegade Ops in gameplay and Mad Max in lore and atmosphere.

I really like @somestickguy_'s Giant Bomb TV intros. Can't wait to see what he does next (fingers crossed there's another coming!).

Linux certainly has its place in my work, but I mainly deal with a Microsoft ecosystem. I do however run a private Ubuntu Server from home. It's pretty great.

Wow! That does look really good! The lack of game play shown until now made me have some doubts, but then again Avalanche is a great studio and has a good track record so far. Huge Just Cause and Renegade Ops fan here, along with Mad Max. I'm really excited to play this.

Clearly an homage to the great one.

Now that's a TIME cover I could get behind.

I'll just leave a few of these here. The GOTY 2011 FMV videos are some of the best stuff they've ever done. Very memorable. A game could be awesome, but I'd imagine it would have to be fan based and use pre-existing content.

Here's all the amazing FMV videos they did for GOTY 2011: http://www.giantbomb.com/search/?indices[0]=video&page=1&q=game%20of%20the%20year%202011

Maybe Dave Lang can make it in Flash. He knows that software pretty well.

Mega Turrican and Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! (both on Genesis) have amazing soundtracks! Both are not too well discussed so I guess that makes them under appreciated.

@humanity: Thanks for sharing the story behind your epic Space Pizza gif. It seemed like the most random thing ever; in a really good way. Your art style fits so well with GB and friend's shenanigans.

@zombiepie I have been meaning to read your Final Fantasy blogs for some time now, but am really intimidated since they are soooooo long and to be frank, I don't like Final Fantasy. However, now knowing they involve the breaking of a man's soul, I'm going to read them. As always, thanks for writing up the spotlight every week; always look forward to it. Also thanks to Marino for putting it up on the front page.
