The poll showing Shadow Complex winning and all the very diverse opinions in this thread reflects upon the supposed blockbusters in Feb/March more than how great SC is.  This year has been pretty weak, especially when compared to the fucking monster year that 08 was.  Of those available on the list I voted for RE5 btw,  because I did play it several times and enjoyed their take on co-op.

While I really loved the Mass Effect story, this is easy....Fallout 3.

Flashpoint, Forza 3, and MW2.  ODST and Borderlands have my cautious interest also.

Just finished that one tonight.  Most surreal quest yet in a pretty damn surreal game in general.  Also, the decision about Harold's heart was the hardest for me to decide on in the game.  The voice acting and even the tree animation of Harold were mindboggling....truely epic shit imo.

Epic album indeed, and I like 'Dogs'  just as much.  TC, you need to also listen to some of their earlier stuff, like Atom Heart Mother, Ummagumma, Meddle, and A Saucerful of Secrets.  More psychedelic but just as brilliant and not to be missed imo.
BTW, which one's Pink???????

This vid might help some get a better idea as to why Codies has been so excited about the next Operation Flashpoint game.  Hardcore mode looks pretty damn cool.

Yeah, I at least finish most games once unless I really can't get into them(and it happens more times than I like!), or it's a game I have purchased to play w/friends exclusively(Tiger Woods games for instance).  And if I really like a game I'll go all out to get all the achievements.  But generally I will at least finish most games even if they aren't so great....CoD WaW is a good example of a game I found to be very average, at least the sp, but I still finished the sp to see the end.  I try to research games though mostly, in order to get the ones I will really get into and go all out to play through multiple times, and get most, if not all the achievements.

Halo 3 in any sort of competitive mode comparison is easily my fav, but in online co-op, Gears 2 Horde mode is just a riot, as well as L4D, IF you can gather up some friends.

Very addictive game.  Gamefaqs will help alot btw.  Sacred 2 consumed my summer(maxed it gp wise), and now it's a bit perplexing to find another game to fill the whole.  Have fun w/this game and it's amazing ability to find yur hidden OCD tc(s), lol.:-)

Educate yourself tc, on all the improvements that have been made to the heatpipe, sink, and chipsets the past few years.  The Jasper chip set specifically is much more reliable and has been tested to run far cooler than the previous designs.  That and the choice to DL games to the HDD in the last big NXE dash update is a huge help w/system reliability.

Not to excuse MS for the first design(Xenon).  They should be embarrassed and condemned for it.   And....they have been, while simultaneously spending oodles of $s to fix their design mistake and rebuild customer satisfaction and confidence.  I bet they would do things much different if they could start over.  Anyway this is such old news....time to move forward...........>>>
