Hey folks I was just looking at the Australian Steam store page for Saints Row: The Third and noticed that it appears to have an R18+ classification, which is weird because as far as I know we still don't have an R18+ rating for games in this country. I also had a look at the OFLC site for the game's rating and it said MA15+.

Does anyone know what is going on with this? I'd look at the steam forums but they appear to be down.

Really, no balancing, I always thought PvP in WoW was constantly being balance and rebalanced or am I wrong?

Because I am pretty sure there are more skills and classes they would need to balance to make WoW fair than than D3.

@Darkstar614: I am pretty sure he can be fought legitimately, however I don't think you ever have to if you don't want to.

Firstly I need a little clarification on what might cause my video card to heat up to 100 degrees C. I've never noticed any problems until I started using a 1080p capable monitor, could running games at 1080p resolution be contributing significantly to the overheating issues I am experiencing (It appears the fan is running fine)? I know my computer could use a little more in the way of cooling but this problem seems to have come out of nowhere.

Secondly I am planning to upgrade in the near future and I am looking at purchasing an AMD 6850 (I have been unhappy with my last nVida card I am changing teams). This card seems to have Ok performance and is within my price range (Hardware can be expensive in Australia). Does anyone have any experience with this card with regards to value for money.

I don't know about over in the US but in Australia we have a government organisation called the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. These guys basically protect the rights of consumers and help prevent anti-competitive behaviour from small and big business alike. Companies that do stuff like what GameStop is doing get fines and massive negative publicity from wide media exposure.

Think about it this way, I have friends who I know will buy this game that only work a couple of days a week this means they will be playing many more hours of Diablo 3 than I am, therefore they will have better loot and be of a higher level. So I think it's great that Bilzzard are incorporating a system that lets me even the odds just a little.

As a person who lives in a country without a rating for adult games which as led to the refusal of classification of games such as Mortal Kombat and Fallout 3 giving control of who can buy a game to the government can only be a good thing.

It is the parents who let their kids buy violent video games who ruin it for the rest of us. Having a big fat 18 on the box allows a parent who doesn't know anything about video games to make an educated decision on whether a game is suitable for their kids or not. If people don't respect the rights they are given to make a choice or use those rights to make anything other than the right choice those rights should be taken away.

For example many people in the US have a gun just because it's their right to have one and how many people die from gunshot wounds in the US. Take away that right and less people will die when a gun goes off by accident. Just because you can own a gun doesn't mean you should.

Therefore just because you can sell a violent game to a minor doesn't mean you should and if people keep doing it that right should be taken away.

@meandmoves: Have you been the victim of credit card fraud as a result of this and are you paying for the premium pass? If not I think there is no reason to complain so what if the service is down the only thing you lose is a few hours of multiplayer action that has cost you nothingĀ
