@Oni:

I think a lot of people are expecting the to be Skyrim if you want that level of depth go play that (or Dragon Age: Origins). People are expecting this game to be something it was clearly not meant to be, this game is what it is; Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. From the short time the demo gives you with the game I had a great experience. Combat is fun and responsive, I also found it quite challenging when there were more than a couple of enemies bashing me at once (could be I was playing it wrong). The art style is great, people complain that it looks like WoW. I think it looks like a Todd McFarlane comic.

For me the bad reception this game has received is indicative of a problem with the gaming community as a whole. People don't want new things and when a game veers from what people expect from a genre or when a new IP isn't enough like other IPs or is too much like another IP they crack the sads. It's this attitude that is causing a dearth of creativity and ingenuity in video games today.

It really is a case of using the right tool for the job. Trying to play an RTS with a controller is stupid as is playing Mechwarrior without a joystick.

Of course all this is entirely subjective, what works for one person won't allways work for another.

Sometime in February or March could be possible if you take a look at the time the SC2 beta started (Feb 17, 2010) and ended ( July 19, 2010 ) and when the game was released (July 27, 2010), that is roughly six months (inclusive). The D3 beta started sometime in September 2011 six months after September is February. Diablo 3 requires less fine balance than SC2 because it they aren't gearing multiplayer towards e-sports so I think it will be in the next couple of months.

I was just reading a post about this on the official Blizzard forums someone was saying they couldn't possibly release the game so soon as they still have to press all the discs package them and then ship them. Could it be possible that the discs are already pressed and being stored in some Blizzard warehouse somewhere and the'll just issue a release day patch.

I have an Asus EAH6870 currently installed in my PC and want to run it through my TV from time to time. Does Anyone know if this card will transmit audio over Displayport and will the audio still work if I use an HDMI adapter.

I think they may have been wiped from the world due to some experiment involving immortality. There was actually one dwarf guy still alive in some plague dungeon in Morrowind if I remember correctly

@Krushr: Yeah my research seems to have shown it is an error. However it's odd that the R18+ symbol is the one used in Australia when there is no R18+ rating for games.

@Napalm: Apparently there was an "in principle" agreement to an R18+ rating for games and some draft guidelines have been submitted but we still don't have that elusive rating... Just have to keep pirating I guess ;)
