Well i don't actually have anything for you to say "hi" to but it just got announced. 360 and PS3.

All i know is that it is an action game in which the player takes the role of Enoch, someone who is send down from heaven by the gods to partake in a raging war between angels and demons.

Ignition also said that they tried to make it an accessible game, take that as you will.

There must be a press release floating around somewhere that goes a bit more in detail.

Looks like the alias "billy club" has also been added to those two pages. That is yet another kind of police weapon that is basically a small club.

Might be best to move everything that is in the baton page to night stick because i doubt that most of the games listed there have actual batons, never seen one in a game myself. And create a new page for billyclubs.

What? I just needed to illustrate my argument

Are those two not actually different things but people use both the words to describe one?

I've always seen a nightstick as a the one with the handle (police grade Tonfas) on it and a baton as one of those (now) extendible iron sticks.

I haven't read the review but i've listend to part of this weeks bombcast and i though about the exactly same instantly. I have not played the original Lost Planet but hearing how people describe it I can see how it is similar to Monster Hunter with slowish movement and weapons that are actually heavy to carry and wield.

It sounds like quite a unique experience that you either learn to play, refuse to embrace or simply do not like. I'm fine with him not liking the game but he should at least acknowledge (or realise?) that for those who are willing to play something else which is not "casual" like say God of War there is a fine share of enjoyment to get out of it.

It has been a while since i've read a review thinking of it. Never have on this site anyway, well except the video review stuff but that was purely so that i'd have something to watch while eating.

I moved it all over, the object page can be straight up deleted now.

I'm about 50 hours in and completed about half the quest of the 5 star difficulty and I had the bad idea to go and check out the list of boss monsters. And apparently I have only just seen half of all the boss monsters which is a really scary though.

How long would it take to actually beat the single player mode?

@McSmunions: Thanks for the tip. I did bring along 10 Sonic Bombs but i missed quite a lot of them because you really need to throw then just when its tails enters the sand and not a second later or sooner. I shall also bring some traps along the next time. My biggest problem with the lance is that Diablos (a bit like that other big rock monster) keeps moving around all the time and it just takes way to long before i can land some new hits. I'm sure that in multiplayer this will be less of an issue though.

That was your 11,000th post. Fantastic. "
I didn't realise.  It's undergone an edit to make it more so.  "
It is kind of crazy that you are quite near to being the top poster on Giant Bomb.

Ok so Diablos was fun... I had to bail out in the last 5 minutes because he just wouldn't die...

Why the that timer even there? It is extremely discouraging. I would have preferred if they would have put in place some ranking system based on how long you took to beat a level and that you needed to get an overall grade in that quest set to unlock the next set of quests. At least that way players wouldn't be forced to play aggressively all the time and it would be possible to get new gear.

Haaa Monster Hunter...

Pretty sure one of the mods (Matty I think) posted nudes of himself. "
Dude what?! For whatever reason I simply refuse to believe that. "
Ya he was drunk and probably didn't even realize what he did.  I refused to believe what I saw. "
Man that was amazing, creepy but amazing.

So what is this thread about?
