Thanks. It would just be A LOT easier to have one account per xbox to be able to buy stuff and t hen lock away certain features for public use rather than bothering with multiple accounts blah blah etc.
Now do I have to create a separate account on the Xbox to put these "permissions" on or can I just set it on the "master" account and perhaps just log in with a password when we want to go buy a game here and there?
I should probably post this in another area so forgive me but.
Basically I want to know if I can do something like this:
I work in a library and we want to have a couple of Xboxs that teens/kids/whatever can play on but not be able to do certain things. We want to just put some digital games on there (only up to a T rating) and allow anyone to be able to sit down and play them but we don't want them to be able to access the XBLA store and buy anything, we'll be doing that through points cards and stuff and providing the content.
The answer I'm assuming is yes but I've never delved too much into parental controls on an Xbox before :(
I'm doing much better right now. Been working through a book on anxiety and man has that helped a lot. Driving is going well with no more anxiety. Actively seeking a higher library job where I can interact more with people as I've made a lot of progress on getting myself out of a bad mindset. Yeah that whole youtube or video game was maybe a little well wished and panic talking heh. I actually did make a kind of dumb youtube channel where I want to review vita games while sitting in a bathroom. All just for fun and I don't actually want to make nor have delusions of making money from it. Not self promoting mods but as a follow up to the turn of things in this thread. Kind of fun and good practice for self confidence. http://www.youtube.com/user/BathroomVitaReviews (EDIT:no longer doing that)
So I recently bought that Sherlock Holmes games series on steam and wanted to know which to start off on. I guess mystery of the mummy is the oldest but it's been a little rough to play. Going around a house solving puzzles is a little boring or unless it gets more interesting later. Any game in the series a little more accessible. Don't want to pass up older ones but also have to maintain my sanity.
So I wrote a review for Slender the Eight Pages but I don't see it on the page yet. I take it as a newb who is just now contributing to the site that it has to be mod approved or something? By the way that was really fun (okay maybe not REALLY fun but enjoyable) to do. Was neat to just kind of sit down, think and write a bit. Always wanted to get better at writing. Sorry folks I won't turn this into some personal micro blog. As I said, I really appreciate the replies and calls to be reasonable and maybe tone down the idea that I'll just do this and that and make money blah blah etc.
Hey not to get way too ahead of myself but is it possible to monetize video game reviews? Say sometimes you're on camera and sometimes you show footage you recorded while you comment on something?
