I have fraps but it doesn't seem to want to capture FMV games and I haven't tried the older sprite based games to see if it doesn't capture them either. I'm basically looking to start a silly little Youtube channel (no this is not a plug) where I attempt to playthrough old PC games and see how far I get. The modern stuff I can obviously easily capture with FRAPS but it seems like older games don't want to get captured through it.

Are there other programs similar to FRAPS that will do the trick especially for FMV games?

Black and usually the cheapest grocery store stuff. I worked as a shelver in a library for a long time and the grind of monotonous book shelving eventually just became fueled by 5-7 cups of coffee a day. I just acquired for black coffee and the cheap stuff as we couldn't buy the fancy expensive stuff.

I'm doing good. I own a car now and have no anxiety driving. Got a promotion at work and deal directly with people and make more money obviously. Got a lot of compliments from patrons for myself and feels good but I do honestly feel a little tired from having been at the same place for so long. I think I'm having a bit of that first world quarterlife crisis or whatever but I'm trying to not be whiney about it. Still live with my parents and still nothing with the women but it's okay.

I decided to close down that channel that I have another one talking about various Forever Alone things. Not necessarily mopey but just trying I like doing. I'm not going to post the link because I don't want to turn this thread into a promotion for myself etc etc. I'm somewhat incorporating video games into my channel as a sort of Forever Alone Media Club even though I'll talk about books and movies too. I don't game too much these days just random stuff here and there rather than anything and everything. I kind of want to do some playthroughs of games like Phantasmagoria 2 (loved the cheesiness of that) and maybe some newer ones like Outlast and Amnesia Machine for Pigs but don't want to clutter up my channel with playthroughs. Will probably start a new channel for that but honestly I think I'll just do silent ones. Last thing the world needs is more people screaming in video game videos.

Do you have to become a machinima partner or something to monetize playthrough videos where you DO talk?

This should probably go into the New Vegas forum but figured it would get more views here so I apologize. After finishing New Vegas recently and enjoying the hell out of my near 80 hour journey I really wanted to buy the game soundtrack to this. I'm not talking about all the songs being played on the radio but the original score or whatever you would call it for this. The various ambient tracks while you explore, combat music etc etc. That stuff. Really enjoyed some of its moodiness and could have sworn some of the songs were used in Fallout 1/2 but I could be crazy.

EDIT: I ask because I just keep finding compilations of the radio songs which isn't what I'm looking for :(

One more question bros, can multiple accounts on the same xbox access the same xbla game? So if I buy a game on a parent account, will the child account (on the same console) be able to access and play the game?

@jdh5153: Sorry I read your post my confusion still is whether or not I can restrict purchases on a master/main/adult account and then just temporarily reenable that for when we want to make purchases. It seems like if there's a "child" account on the console you can make such restrictions but I'd rather have just one account per console to deal with.

Oh and does the family content settings lets you block access to buying stuff Phantomnaut or is it a blanket sort of no access to LIVE at all? I'm still debating whether we want the little kiddies to be able to play on LIVE at all. If they can we would probably want to turn off all voice chat and stuff but may not even bother. The whole point will be to have a digital collection of games on the console and not bother with discs. Stuff like Minecraft and some other crap.
