I can't wait to look back at this list in a year and say I'm a fucking idiot for putting that thing at thing spot thing. I like Dark Souls 2 a lot. It's a really great game and I probably should of played it more. The Souls games fill the need in my heart for a deep ass dank dungeon exploring game even though that's not really the game at all. I'm scared to go around a corner because if I do I might die. I have to be precise as fuck and not fuck up. Except my Greatsword+10 made that not exactly true either. It's a fucking great game despite being a 9/10 compared to Dark's 10/10 and man, I just really love these games. I get to explore cool worlds and I get to kill things and be challenged a bit and stuff.

I don't care if it came out in 2012 in Japan on the Vita. I don't care if it came out in 2013 in the US on the PS3. IT CAME OUT IN 2014 ON THE FUCKING VITA FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THAT'S WHERE I PLAYED IT. MAN, MIKU IS SO FUCKING GOOD. I came back to this over and over and it's always a blast to play. I still have a few songs to try and complete on Extreme, but also that shit is insane. It's such a great game. Fire Flower is the best. World's End Dance Hall is the best. Remote Controller is the best. World's End Umbrella is cool too. Summer Idol is great. Melancholic is great. Yo, fuck that nyan shit though. That song is garbage. Project Diva f still the best though.

I'm mostly putting it at this spot because I had a ton of fun racing online each week against some friends. It's also just a really great game and I can pick it up in seconds. It controls so fucking good. Drifting feels so fucking good. Everything feels so fucking good. I did all the time trials and got 3 stars in all cups except mirror or something. It's a great game. It also has great DLC and F-Zero and fuck dood.

I have gotten to chapter 8 in this game. I have seen nothing. I am an idiot for not playing more of this already. I really need to gitgud at Bayonetta in general. I should really play more of this game and I honestly shouldn't even have it on this list at #4 considering I haven't beaten it. Fuck you though. This is my list. I don't care.

I should put more time into this game. I've beaten it like 15 times and it's really great. If I get sucked back into it then I might just go for 100%. It's a really great game and I loved the hours I spent with it so far. I should probably go back and get Platinum God in regular-ass Binding of Isaac as well. Both games are so good.

The one game in recent memory to actually deliver on the promise of a retro inspired not Mega Man platformer. The game is just super fucking tight and super fucking good and super fucking fun. I can't wait for the free DLC campaigns and Shovel Knight 64 which totally has to happen.

This honestly should be at number 3 right near Project Diva f, but I found it disappointing. It didn't fix my annoyance with scratch notes and instead added more gimmicks to them. I also might need to play it more, but I do not find that I like the whole playlist as much as the first one. This might be because I had to play the first a lot to gitgud and that in turn made me really love the songs. I even have the platinum and man fuck that diva room. I completed hard mode on the second in one day and that might be why it had less impact on me as a whole. I plan on eventually returning to see if I can love the game more since I still really want to have the platinum, but it's a bit disappointing in my mind.

I've never been super into Smash. I liked 64, but there wasn't a lot of content to keep me playing. I also didn't have friends. I loved Melee and there was a sizable amount of content to keep me playing. I still didn't have friends, but I loved fighting the CPU still. I have such weak memories of Brawl for some reason. I think it was because the game was slower and once I finished Subspace Emissary I just kind of dropped it. Smash 4 was my biggest deep cut into the franchise and yo dood, Little Mac. I fucking have so much fun playing as Little Mac and it's insane. I don't care if it's high tier or low tier or shit tier. He's so fast and he hits hard and oh god he's just the best and he feels so good. I wish my internet wasn't shit or I'd be playing this online so much fucking more. I really fucking like this game.

I got a Vita in 2014. I decided to play Velocity Ultra as my first game I think. I then decided to Platinum Velocity Ultra because wow, it's really good. I then heard Velocity 2X was coming out and was free on PS+ day one. I then went and Platinum'd Velocity 2X. Velocity 2X is more of the first game and also fun 2D platformer sections. It's a really great and I love it a lot.

I expected this game to be good and solid. It was very good and solid. I also expected it to be 4 hours long. It took me 13-15 hours to 100% and I didn't try to get the challenge times. This game is more Captain Toad minigames from 3D World and that is great. I'm glad there's more because Captain Toad is fucking great. He's fucking adventure pals with Toadette. It's great. Man, fuck Mummy Me Maze Forever. It was certainly a fucking endurance test.

I'm putting this here because it was edged out since it's a good game, but very simple. It's Revengeance lite and that's okay. It's kind of a slog without powers, but once you get them it becomes much better. I think it's perfectly good for a budget Platinum title, but my main thought to come out of this game is that I hope Platinum gets to make more small budget character action games.
Also I'm using this spot to talk about the games I didn't get to this year that might of been GOTY candidates.
