Well, pay-for-play and bullshit patsy reviews ARE a sort of trend in gaming journalism, so I guess the name of the site is pretty accurate.

I just think this situation is hilarious. Anyone who wants to get into a shit-talking match with Jeff is in for a beatdown. Someone please email the Bombcast so the guys can discuss this thread in the next episode!

Exactly. Whenever you find yourself getting owned, just ask yourself "What would Captain Price do?" More often than not, the answer is Be Fucking Invincible. So just be invincible and you shouldn't have any problems. Also grow a sweet beard.

If I understood correctly what I read from the Wikipedia articles, to summarize it seems that the holographic reticle can be more accurate at long distance than the reflex sight because it reduces parallax.

Here's a couple YouTube videos I found on the subject, there are certainly more where these came from:

This one  demonstrates the way the holographic reticle will stay fixed on target regardless of the angle that you are viewing the scope from.

Also, this wierdo has some opinions on the subject.

Edit: an EMP would disable the holographic sight as well as the reflex/red dot, they are both electronic
