"@PercyChuggs: Actually we are disappointed.   As I said in a different topic.  Most of us bought this at launch know about the limited content, expecting to see more, at least in DLC.  Now we find out that we actually have to invest in another game if we want to see the improvements they made within only 6 months of the first game. "

While I understand what you are saying, and to some extent I agree  that Valve has missled the populus with ideas of  games as "platforms" they can improve and sustain with content over time. At the same time I have faith in Valve, I know that sounds a bit naive, but I dont think they are going to screw people over like Activision or EA, I think there is going to be something for the old L4D, at least another decent DLC before L4D2 (dumb name tho, they could have been a little more creative with the sequel naming)

As much as I was waiting for the rumored redesign of the PSP, I think this is too expensive so I think I'll wait I untill Sony finally gets a clue and make significant price reduction...

I am not much of an anime guy but I really like Samurai Camploo aswell and the ending was great.  The show that I think had the perfect finale was The Wire, I think the whole from start to finish was some of the best television I have seen since Twin Peaks, and the ending just made even better.

Planescape Torment sequel would be a dream come true, especially if it'd lead by Cris Avellone....just the thought of it has me drooling all over my keyboard.

Steam, GOG, Amazon and Target are my shopping avenues; I usually try to avoid Gamestop as much as I can, there is something about the employees here that just rub me the wrong way...

I guess my top 5 games that I hope I wont forget would be;

Ico/Shadow of the Colossus -  first games where I thought that games can be  as much art as film
Bioshock -  the underwater city, Rapture, was sight to behold, not many setting in video games are this well thought out and unique
Beyond Good and Evil - shows that shooting people in the face is not the only way to be a 'freedom fighter'
Age of Empires II- best multiplayer RTS I played, it was ejoyable even if I was losing
GTA III -  changed my view of what can be done with games as far as freedom in a virtual place.
Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne - after I played this game all other JRPG seemed childish and devoid of originality by comparison
Portal - I loved the whole game but the end song, 'I am still Alive' was one the most memorable moment in video games
Team Fortress 2 - imo best multiplayer since Quake
World of Goo - I love the sign painter and yet I have yet to meet him/her/it
Planescape Torment - a fantasy game where you can empathize with the undead more then the actual humans npc cant be all bad...
Grim Fandango - if my suspicions that Tim Schafer is god are true (or at least related to him/her) then I am pretty certin this is how the afterlife is gone look like.
Dune II - first game I have ever played, then spent a very unhealthy lenght of time playing it
Prince of Perisa Sands of Time -  Arabian Nights have never been translated in another form better then in PoP, even if it doesnt carry the name.
Vampire Bloodlines - so well written that my standards for RPGs went way high, which is unfortunate cause its hard to get in other newer RPGs...

ok so I went a little bit over 5...

I <3 them. But unfortunately there's nothing recent that they've done that I haven't already played. "
Due to Interplay and it's incompetence, they no longer make games.
"

But luckly the main people from Black Isle went ahead a formed Obsidian.  I for one still hold hope they will eventually get to do a "spirtual successor" to Planescape Torment. :)

Like your list, and since you didnt limit yourself to just 360 library I wont either, so I'll add a few more to it:

System Shock 2 - if you liked Bioshock you might wanna give this game chance..
Ico
Prince of Persia Sands of Time
Psychonauts
Planescape Torment - cant recommend this game enough, the only catch is that you might not be able to get your hands on it
Kotor
Shin Megami Tensei - any from the series released in US, except Devil Summoner

I think the easiest RTS for beginners is AoE II due to the ease that one can turtle in that game... The game was on one of the consoles but getting it on the PC would proably be a better idea.

They are a business, there would be big legal complications with them accepting donations. "

I see, you could be right, but I also listen to a film podcast, Filmspotting, that has sponsors but they also ask for donations from people that would like to contribute.  They are a buusiness too from what I can tell, they have interns... :), and part of their podcast airs on NPR.  If they can get away with it I dont think it would be too hard for GB to do it.  Anyways, selling shirts/hoodies is good too :)
