I would have thought that EA needs all the advertisement and "shelf space" they can get when BF3 is released. It means that they need to be everywhere - this includes Steam. You simply cannot dismiss Steam anymore. To maximize sales on the digital distribution front you need to be on there - which is something that Activision will surely do with Modern Warfare 3 (Battlefield 3's prime sales opponent).
I have a similar problem except the audio does not play... at all. Does not matter weither I have headphones or not. This problem seems to have introduced itself with the website changes, since so far I have only experienced this problem on Giantbomb. I'm on a Thinkpad T410.
I have tried older QL that worked before, same deal.
Did anyone else see the claims that Sony are actually data-mining more information about their users than their EULA gives them right to?
And if someone points out some obscure wording in the EULA that might allow for such a thing then it just means that the EULA is in violation to privacy laws in some countries - those laws trump EULA agreements.
(Same claims have been brought forward on Apple, Google and Microsoft though.)
