The Dunmer of Morrowind created a magical device called the Ingenium that used souls to try to hold the Ministry of Truth in place. It worked for a while by using prisoners to power it but eventually they needed to expand the souls required to keep the ministry of truth in place. They figured out a way to use souls without killing the person but it turned them into vegetables and would eventually kill them. The Dunmer Ilzheven was used to power the machine but her lover Sul rescued her from the machine. The lack of souls to power the Ingenium led to the Ministry crashing into Vivec leading to the eruption of Red Mountain.

I'm pretty much going to spoil everything concerning the factions so be warned. Spoilers!

It feels like the game is trying to push into the Stormcloaks to make a decision you'll regret. After dealing with Ulfric, finding the information about him being a Thalmor agent and seeing how Windhelm is run it makes it obvious that Ulfric and the Stormcloaks are not good for Skyrim. While the Empire may have its problems the Stormcloaks are acting for the benefit of the Thalmor that Ulfric hates so much.

From the start of the game it tries to make it superficially seem like the Empire is bad, I didn't like the banning of Talos worship, the Medes dynasty doesn't have any special justification for rule and they're going to kill you at the start of the game. That's why in my first game I went Stormcloaks and soon regretted it. Ulfric and the leadership of the Stormcloaks is incredibly racist against all non-Nords, the widespread support seems to be quietly in favour of the Empire despite a lot of vocal Stormclock supporters and finding out Ulfric acted as a Thalmor agent didn't help this at all. While the Empire may have banned Talos worship it becomes obvious that until later it was accepted for everyone to privately worship Talos and Ulfric's movement for opening it led to the crackdown. The Stormcloaks leading Skyrim likely wouldn't be able to deal with the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire needs Skyrim's help as well to deal with it. Cyrodiil was devastated by the war and agreed to something that wasn't good but was obviously a temporary concession. Skyrim had been an important part of the Empire for its entire existence and remains the most important province outside of Cyrodiil itself.

On top of that, the concession doesn't stop Talos from being real and anyone's who has played Morrowind and Oblivion should realize that Talos is probably the most active of the various Aedra. This isn't like that episode of Star Trek where the Greek pantheon were actually aliens that required acknoledgement and worship to exist. "Who mourns for Talos" isn't a quest in Skyrim.

In recorded history 2 people have been killed by coyotes in North America. I don't think Vinny was ever in any danger even without his knife.

I can only hope that some CS veterans got in and promptly roll over those people. If they can root out some of the chaff before this goes retail, that would be great.

That really shouldn't be your goal. You want the game to be good enough to draw in new people otherwise it won't catch on and you'll have to deal with a continuously declining community.

Hey, you know what other game had multiplayer? Baldur's Gate 2. And Icewind Dale. And Icewind Dale 2. And Neverwinter Nights.

NWN was sort of about the ability to make your own campaigns and the multiplayer was huge because of that. If they support player made campaigns in DA3 with a DnD style that would rule.

Ubisoft does everything wrong. They do always-online DRM, offering nothing to people who play this game unlike Battle.net or Steam. Then they sell the games on a platform that already has its own form of DRM and then to top it all off their authentication servers have gone down more than once for a decent period of time. They go around and complain about the people who dislike the DRM as if we should feel bad for the company. Then they release the games later on PC when other stuff is out and compain about the lower sales.

If you're on PC open the console and type sexchange twice. Don't be on a horse when you do this

Yes...It's ok you aren't that much more powerful and you are pretty much defenseless but it is useful because you can't get any diseases!

It's really strong earlier in the game and since you can eat people, and only people it seems, it's not very effective against monsters. The fear is incredibly powerful

Does light armor or heavy armor look better? I don't really want to end up with a bunch of ugly armor throughout the game which can often happen in elder scrolls games.

You have to eat something and unlike a vampire you can't just stealthily drink some blood. Also, everyone will kill you. You can't use weapons or spells
