I ended up shooting Kenny and leaving Jane.

Here are my thoughts about season 2 in general since I played all 5 episodes over 3 days....

• Overall, I really didnt like the "this character is crazy for no reason" motif, I mean really did we have to have Carver, Jane and Kenny be insane/irrational all the time? The argument between Jane and Kenny in the car in epsiode 5 felt really stupid to me.
• I still think it was mistake to play as a child, I felt like some of the choices could have been way darker if we played as an adult, i.e: shooting Mike/Arvo/Bonnie for leaving. But I will say I was extremely surprised that they pulled off all the crazy shit this season.
• If there is a next season I kind of want it to go where the comics went, more political about established large groups of humans and greater conflicts. I feel like they have completely maxed out the "how are we going to survive today?" thing.
• Overall, I am still a huge sucker for these types of games since I love story, I think they did a great job in season 2 but its not as mind blowing as season 1.

Hi Everyone,

So I am currently out of ideas on how to fix my out of warranty original Nexus 7 8GB. Basically when I try and bootup my Nexus 7 the following occurs:

1. Device will continuously restart. Google logo shows, nexus logo shows then nothing happens and then restarts. Rinse and repeat,

2. I force it out of continuously restarting by going into the bootloader.

3. I pick "recovery mode" by using the arrow keys

4. I get this screen

So at first I was thinking I could load up adb and try and do a hard reset that way but of course the bootloader is still locked and I dont have developer options turned on.

I have tried Googling around and I have seen other people have similar issues but dont really see a solution, I tried the random combination of button presses when I am on that "no command" screen, nothing happens for me.

I am a programmer, so I am pretty tech savy, I am willing to even try and take it apart but from what I read I think the memory is soldered onto the logic board so I don't think there is anything I can do hardware wise.

Anyway if someone has any ideas let me know.

RIP Ryan, you were an awesome dude with a very funny and entertaining personality, you will be missed!

As a software developer I completely understand how stuff like this happens. Decisions from the stakeholders on the project take too long to make which lead to missed deadlines and then eventually someone needs to tell the VP or director that the feature is gonna get delayed by six months.

That said this type of thing gets avoided by careful and meticulous project management. I think that as soon as they got 3.3 million instead of 400k they should have delayed the game to 2014 and carefully rethought the project from the ground up. Because the project was initially scoped and budgeted for 400k and then they scaled it up to a 3.3 million project, there is no way that could have gone well, and I was surprised it took them this long to delay it.

Anyway this was a $15 bet for me so I am not really mad or anything. Hopefully the game comes out, but when I put my money in I I knew it was a possibility the game would not come out. The next kickstarter from double fine is gonna be interesting.

Just finished it, man hell of a game. I would give it five stars for the awesome story and the great relationship between Joel and Ellie but my complaints:

• Like many have said here Naughty Dog could not resist making some really contrived video game moments: boss fights, infinite ammo situations, towards the end there are way too many enemies.
• Combat at its core is not really that fun, if there is gonna be ammo scarcity then when I fucking shoot a guy he better fucking go down in one shot.
• Collecting stuff is a bit too extreme, I like the system but it is taken way too far, there is shit to collect EVERYWHERE.

Anyway, loved the story, loved the environment, and I thought the graphics were really impressive.

I thought that was about what I expected, not mind blowing but pretty good. I liked how the voice commands seemed better, probably getting ps4 and xbox one on release assuming there is supply. Hopefully Microsoft has a couple of exclusives to announce at e3.

I think I am gonna buy Deadly Premonition and Injustice. I am also in the middle of finishing up all 3 mass effect games again lol.. And I need to start gears of war, maybe I will buy Tome Raider, Bioshock and Devil May Cry if they go on sale during the summer drought.

Yeah my gamestop said they didn't have any copies, man Nintendo of America seems to be sucking lately, first fire emblem and now this? Of course I am not helping by buying both via eshop lol
