Well, it makes sense... XNA is for making games, and C#/XAML and HTML5/CSS/JavaScript are for making Metro apps. It does kind of suck that you can't sell your XNA games in the store, but there's always Steam, and, y'know, your own website.
The voice acting is ANIME VOICE ACTING, love it or hate it (or be indifferent to it, like me). I don't get all the hate; it's pretty much on par with Persona 3 & 4.
That glorified quick look has no business being subscriber only. They're not putting in extra effort to make that; they are doing what they would normally do for a normal-ass quick look. That's fucking dumb.
I like where this thread is going.
Oh, I'm not trying to start any shit, I don't really care, and that'll probably be my only comment on the subject. That video seems like a regular-ass Quick Look Throwback, so unless that video is like, four hours, it doesn't make any sense for it to subscriber only, especially considering other Throwback QLs were free.
It's a video archive of a subscriber-only live event, like a non-end-of-the-month Happy Hour or whatever. Yeah, it's kind of like Quick Look Throwback, but when you boil it down, what does "Quick Look" mean? "We're going to play a video game for awhile and show it to you while we talk over it." Well, for Giant Bomb specifically, there's not a lot you ("you" being GB staff) can do for subscriber-only videos that isn't this exact formula. It's a website about two things: video games, and the personalities of the staff. I literally cannot think of a single compelling idea for a subscriber-only video for Giant Bomb that isn't just voices over a video capture stream :\
Jesus, people, they're not going to do another Atlus game. Not only has Jeff already said as much, but it just makes sense: why would they make "Endurance Run" mean "watch Jeff and Vinny play a SMT game?"
And they're not going to do a super-recent game, like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, or Skyrim, as some people have suggested. That would just be silly.
@CaLe: See, I know where you're coming from, "there's no graphics and it's turn-based or something, dumb," but me, I read that story and knew I had to play it immediately :\
