Rockstar did it. They made a really fucking good game. I have only played a couple of hours but it is great. I would be playing it right now but am at work.
I am prepared to play 12 hours straight before I have to go to work the next day at 4pm. I then work till midnight and have the next 3 days off to sink my teeth into GTA V
GTA:IV even though I had the game before release I still went midnight and picked up a copy. Took the next few days off of school for that. Now I am not going to take any time off of work, but I am going to bring my xbox to work and play when I am not busy.
When I still played console games I pirated games quite frequently. My current steam library is 300+ games. That petition is pathetic and proves nothing. I know people who have never been PC gamers and pirate everything on consoles from PSX, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, 360, PS3.
GTA V will be the last current gen game I play on console, before that it was The Last Of Us. I bought the collectors edition GTA V for 360 because I can't wait for the PC version whenever that comes out.
Either way if GTA V comes to PC I will probably gift it to 3-4 friends in addition to purchasing my own copy. GTA IV on PC is still a hell of a good time when played with friends and mods.
Yeah, GTA4 on PC was clearly the best version and ran super well.
It didn't run great, but it is still the best version of the game by far. It just requires a fast pc to overcompensate for poor optimization. Mods alone put PC version ahead of the console versions. I own GTA:IV on all platforms.
I am very done with Nintendo. I gave my sister my ds and 3ds because she wanted to play Pokemon. I made her clean my whole room when she visited in exchange for Pokemon. She is 24 years old, so I guess Pokemon will always keep them afloat along with Mario and their other horrible game franchises they keep churning out.
