Unfinished business
All the games I started playing, then never finished for one reason or another.

I bought Assassins Creed and Assassins Creed 2 simultaneously, planning to play through both before the release of Brotherhood. Unfortunately the first game just felt so repetitive after a few missions that I decided to skip it and move straight to Assassins Creed 2, which just improves on everything from the first game. I think I quit at the mission with a guy with decoys.

Ive never been much of a Buffy fan, only watching the occasional episode on TV here and there. Still, I got this for a few bucks and kinda liked it. It’s a decent brawler with good voice acting and a pretty good sense of humor. I quit when I had to play as some sort of puppet though.
(PS2)
Never really struck a chord with me for some reason. Only played a few hours and went onto something else.
(XBOX)
Think I got stuck at some boss fight in this game or something. I enjoyed the humor, but remember the jumping and the attacking being really annoying.
(PS3)
Really great game that I played a lot, then felt like I needed a break. At least halfway through, probably longer. Just never got back to it for some reason.
(PS2)
I never got good at these games. Didn’t get very far in this one before I just got tired of having my ass kicked.
(PS2)
Same as above. Did feel like I got more a grasp of everything here though, and definitely got further along. Think I got stuck at a boss and gave up.

I really like this game a lot, and got pretty deep into the game… And then got a corrupted save. Played it some more and got to chapter 3 or 4, and then stopped.
(PS1)
My Moby Dick. I really can't stand this game, for a variety of reasons that my eventual blogpost on this would probably bring up. Yet some part of me wants to finish it, just so I can say I beat it. I got pretty far in, but when the party went to SPACE and some horrible love song played as the main characters were in trouble, I shut it off and haven’t returned.
(PS2)
Think this was the game I started playing after quitting on Bully. Got pretty far in the game, and liked it quite a bit. Don’t remember at all why I stopped.
(PS3)
Ugh. The story in this just never got going in the 15 hours or so I played it. I actually like the gameplay and several of the characters, but I just needed a break, and it turned out to be a lot longer than I had anticipated.
(XBOX)
Remember this weird game that took forever to release, and then got mediocre reviews? Yeah, I actually sorta liked it. I remember it being pretty funny, but otherwise average at best. I got stuck at some weird level where you had to swim in a certain pattern or something.

Barely played this. Im not much of a shooter guy really, but it seemed fun from the little I played.

As a huge fan of LOST, I of course had to try this out. It’s pretty bland, and I got stuck running away from Smokey carrying dynamite sticks. Ugh.
(XBOX)
Just like DMC, Im just not very good at this game. I think I lack the patience to really do well in this, especially against bosses.
(PS2)
I really liked the first Obscure as a co-op experience, and the second one is even better at capturing the feel of a teen slasher flick, killing off characters at scripted points in the story. I’ll be having a buddy help me out here, as we played it together, and I never felt like the game is a very good single player experience.
(PS2)
I didn’t get this game until long after the PS2 had been replaced by this generation of consoles. Ive only tried it for a very brief period of time, but it seemed really dated to me for some reason. Hoping it will grab me once I play it some more.

Barely played it, but seemed alright.
(PS2)
I really enjoyed this game, and got pretty far into it, but got stuck at some point. Don’t remember when it was though.

I honestly really like this game, but having to do the same side missions again and again between every story mission burnt me out after a while. Thankfully, I don’t think I have much to go.
(XBOX)
Really weird game, but good fun nevertheless. The problem here is that I seem to remember having saved the game at a point where I can’t go back and heal, and I have little health left, right before a big battle.
(PS2)
I love this game, but at a certain point you have to make several parties, and since I didn’t have enough people who are leveled up, I got stuck at a boss right before the end of the game. Will probably require some grinding. Ugh.

Of all the games on this list, this is the most recent one to end up in the unfinished pile. I actually really like it, and it's still on my coffee table, so its not like Ive completely abandoned it, unlike most other games here.
(PS3)
The time stuff got old fast, and the shooting is bland. Thankfully I think Im pretty far along in it.
(XBOX)
I remember this as a silly, fun, but glitchy mess of a game. No recollection of the story, or how much I even played it.
