the main reason i got this, Syndicate, is fun... but I can only play up until the 3rd mission... I can't get into the car WTF, I looked online, i asked friends, No one knows. does ANYONE at all ANYWHERE have ea replay and know how to get into a car in syndicate? specifically the one in the 3rd mission. i am sure i can figure the rest of the game out. thanks ahead of time if you do know and tell me on here.
i dont know if you people (when i say that i mean ignorant people) realize this, but $50 is a fair price for a 4gb game on the 3ds. and from what i have seen the extra space is needed to keep the game running smoothly and looking just as good as a current gen console, like it does now.... so you should be lucky it doesnt cost current gen full price ($60) because it easily could... and besides i heard the game is worth it. I would easily get a 3ds just to get it if i could afford to do so (stupid bills lol)
lol dont matter i already pre ordered the limited collector's director's cut final edition (just added more to give it flavor :P) I dont care when it comes out as long as it is a quality product and worth the 100 bones im shelling out for it. but i have a feeling it is gonna be :D
Hello and Welcome to the first episode of "Who would win?" let me break it down first before i get into todays "battle"
!. this is a vote based competition against game characters only
2. how the characters win is determined by vote (including my own)
3. i will do the follow up episodes whenever i feel like it :P (and based on demand too so send me a message or 2 if you like it)
and last but certainly not least 4. have fun with it and on that note on with the show (hopefully i can afford a camera and do this on you tube or something :P)
the two classic FPS games that are specifically what i have in mind for this competition/blog thing here today: WOLFENSTEIN 3D and DOOM they are influential games from the early 90s, they have popularized the FPS genre, and even though they weren't the first, at the time, they definitely were the best. they may not be pretty to look at by today's standards but they were amazing milestones back then tech wise AND gameplay wise.... ANYWHO :P today's competitors:
DOOM GUY: He escaped from hell literally and he kicked some alien/demon ass while doing it he has access to weapons tech that we only dream of in certain cases and has the skills to use it on the hordes of undead and demons. heck he even destroyed a giant mechanical spider demon with miniguns attatched to it.
games: DOOM, DOOM II Hell on Earth, DOOM 3, (future) DOOM 4
B.J. Blazkowicz: he escaped from a metaphorical hell in the form of a castle, he rocked the nazis in WWII WAY before Call of Duty, Battlefield, and even Medal of Honor...and by himself too so he earns his place among the bad asses of videogames. oh did i mention he has killed Adolf Hitler in a robot suit?
games: Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein
Both these bad ass FPS icons can each hold their own against zombies and demons and nazis alike. they both are part of the ID "universe" 2 different worlds, 2 different time periods. this would be a battle for the ages if they ever met in combat.
so.... who would win?
do you have a favorite out of the two? vote how you like based on your own opinion.
Place Your Votes in the Comment Section Below and the Winner will be shown in the next episode.
if you have any comments about this blog message me instead i would love your feed back on things like, should i do this again?, or who would be next to face off? or changes to the format? (like where the pics should go for example) cause seriously folks i thought this up in a matter of seconds
He just points out the mechanics one-by-one and says they're badly executed...
Sounds like a valid way to review a game...?
It didn't really seem like he really gave too much examples. He just kinda bashed on it.
I think that is how IGN reviews every game :P i do like a FEW reviews though, some are better than Gamespots most recent ones with that VanOrd guy -_- his voice annoys me for some reason and i cant help but think about his dumb voice when i read his reviews too
@the_r0n1n_named_47: Are you a PR plant, because if you aren't and you actually enjoyed this game, you have mental deficiencies that would warrant investigation.
I did like the game as well, it's not that uncommon for people to have different opinions, you know?
You are correct that people can have different opinions. However, this game is horrible. So don't be surprised when the majority of opinions about DNF are not on your side.
first off, no rexicon im not PR i just like DNF. and if i was i am sure it would already be know that i was by now
any who, i think the game did so badly because A) people have call of duty in their asses (in my opinion anyways) B) because it was little too hyped and ended up disappointing by not living too said hype, C) yes there are tons of better games..... (just sayin though this isn't the worst FAR from it in fact, I think, its WAY better than Turning Point, BodyCount, Brink and legendary combined) D) DNF has been in developement since 1996, and just like Too Human has stayed mostly the same through out developement, thus giving it less and less of a chance against more modern games. So yeah the game had no chance in todays market, now if it was released in 2001 or 2002 I am sure it would hae been fine...especially if it was the way it was in the 2001 trailer (check it out and compair this version with that and you'll see what i mean). do i think DNF is the greatest game ever? no, but, i dont think its a terrible game like everyone (mostly reviewers btw) says it is. and the people who actually played it are most likely dissapointed, I admit I was, but i got over it 'cause, hey, it still plays like old school duke nukem (which is what i think most people didnt like about it) despite the slight modernization
as a side note (just sayin) I dont think this game should hurt Gearbox's rep I mean they didn't really have any dev time with this game at all thus it isnt really their game... now if they did develope DNF I am sure it would be WAY better (I mean seriously look at most their games)... but i guess we'll have to wait till they develope their Duke Nukem game to find out if i am right (again just sayin)
I apologize for so much writing but i felt i needed to say it
that said....yeah i look forward to "the doctor who cloned me" now back to finishing my achievements on DNF lol I only need to beat it on insane and thats it (wanna do it before thw dlc's release).... i would have done it by now but i played deus ex 3 twice and skyrim still :P
