Some people love this game, some people dont.
You may as well have just posted that. And then posted it again for every game ever released.  
 
If on the other hand, you just made up your (pretty stupid, although I suspect you meant it to be) list simply to annoy people - then kudos to you! well done indeed. 
Telling people that a clearly fantastic game is awful is a sure fire way to ignite a shit fight. 
You should just interchange ths particular thread but with (halo)(Gears)(MGS)(FF) etc etc and watch the exact same response ensue.

The platforming is still abysmal, that's what I'll agree with. Also, Nathan Drake is a despicable character. 
Nathan Drake is a fucking psycho. Who can murder soldiers, and make one-liner jokes about that? And those stealth kills where he snaps their neck in bone-crunching fashion? MESSED UP.

@TheGamerGeek: Even though you had a problem with Uncharted 2, you gotta remember that Killzone 2 came out this year as well. The hype for Killzone 2 has been around since the first E3 that the PS3 was even announced. Unless, you can make your point on how Uncharted was more hyped than that, Killzone 2 will be the most disappointing.

I don't know if you can really dismiss criticism of Uncharted 2 as 'being cool to hate popular things'.  I mean it's a dumb retort at the best of times, but Uncharted 2 sales aren't exactly setting the world alight.
 
For a game with a 96% metacritic to drop out of the NPD Top 20 the month after it's release, with nowhere near a million units sold in the US, speaks for itself.  It's an industry darling which most game buyers looked at and wrote off as Gears of War with some jumping - something they could live without when MW2 was right around the corner.
 
As for progression, it took what Half-Life and Call of Duty did/do in the first person (ie. tell the story around you) and used it in the third person - that's it.  They still told more than enough of their story through cutscenes.  I personally don't think it's that much to get excited about - I don't think anybody is ever going to be talking about it in the same manner as Half Life or games of that stature, but that's the kind of critical reception it received.  In real terms it has barely caused a ripple, let alone a splash.

Uncharted 2 is a great game.  Game of the Year?  Questionable.  It perfected the gameplay that was introduced in the first Uncharted and made the gunplay tighter.  The platforming is like that of Tomb raider, only less frusterating.  The enemies are not all bullet sponges like they were on the first one.  The story was better, and it continued the tradition of likeable characters.  Add in multiplayer which is akin to Gears of War on sterioids, and you have a fantastic game.  Its not my game of the year though, but it is definatly in the top ten. 
 
Did I mention the Graphics?

I too was dissappointed a bit by Uncharted 2. They re-used the "supernatural-shit-will-pop-up-during-the-last-hour-of-the-game" formula from the first one, and that was my only fault with the game. Other than that, outstanding game.

I totally agree with you guys on UC2. I went into this game thinking HOLY SHIT IT GONNA BE AWESOME and apart from the great visuals (GREAT visuals) it just felt like a Gears/Tomb Raider hybrid, much like the first one did. Although this one is better than the first I don't get all this hype. I really don't. I think that the visuals were a huge part of the game and it made people much more forgiving to the other parts.

You wont' believe how many flags this got, oh my. They are unjustified because you are stating your opinion but, man, I am sorry....but you are wrong. Well, of course you are not wrong because it is your opinion but I really, strongly disagree. I don't buy your points at all regarding Uncharted 2 and almost feel as if your complaints were strong points for me but....to each his own, I guess.

Uncharted 2 didn't suck, but it didn't do anything innovative either. Definitely one of the top games of 2009, but not the top (unless you are a Sony fanboy)

Anyway, holy crap. I can't help but disagree with TC here. It's not like Uncharted 2 is sex in a can, but holy shit is it an improvement from the first one. I had few expectations for this UC2 due to playing UC1 and thinking it was okay, but not great.
 
It shattered my expectations.
 
Now unless TC got overhyped for UC2, I don't see why it could be a disappointment.

Yeah I'm going to lock this down now. You may have genuinely intended this to be a productive GOTY related blog. But it just screams "trolling for lulz and comments!" too me.
 
The topic title is pretty provocative as it stands but the "fucking suck it" comment and the fact even though you've explained why you dislike Uncharted 2 (which is a perfectly reasonable stance to have, people need to accept it is your opinion) you've still pretty much gone out of your way to provoke people into an argument. And it seems you're enjoying watching it all unfold as well.
 
So just to clarify this isn't being locked because you aren't a big fan of Uncharted 2, this is being locked because you decided to hijack your own GOTY blog which could have been a productive topic and turn it into a thinly veiled attempt at bashing the game to rile up the fans. Had you not used such a provocative topic title and included some questionable responses and comments in this blog then I doubt people would be splitting hairs and getting angry at you. But as it stands it really does come across like you've gone out of your way to intentionally 'stir the pot' so to speak and that my good sir is not acceptable here :)
