I noticed that the link to the Trance Vibrator peripheral is broken on the Rez HD wiki page, gives a 404 message. Trance Vibrator also doesn't show up in the Wiki search. This isn't a banned topic, is it? Is it okay to create a new page for the peripheral?
It doesn't just depend on the game, it also depends on the sex. I believe that the best-ever use of sex in a game is Rez. There's nothing inherently erotic about that game, but with the Trance Vibrator feature, it takes on a new dimension. With the force feedback in tempo with the game, getting more intense the better you play, you can make that game very sexual. It's great for couples, or in the case of the triple-output XBLA version, groups! Instead of being an awkward distraction, sex becomes a gameplay element. I wish more games could do that, and as well as Rez.
" Reviews are inherently subjective. This reminds me of that scene in Dead Poets Society. "
You too? When I hear "objective review" I think of that being a list of facts and statistical data about a game, which I don't think many people are looking for to guide their purchasing decisions. I want to read reviews that are people's subjective opinions about how the game made them feel; I'm happy to read more than one too, as different reviewers with different tastes will have different opinions, maybe some that align more closely to mine.
Way better than having to do this in something clunky like a forum post. Now I can put some thought into this. I even have time to finish Batman: Arkham Asylum before voting is over. We can do it, Brad!
Well this is...unexpected. I'll even go as far as unwanted, too. I think Green Day is fine, but I never would have chosen them as a candidate for their own disc release. They're certainly not The Beatles, nor AC/DC. Not sure if they're as big as Lego... I'm interested to find out what will fill the disc, but at this point I'm very skeptical. If this were DLC I'd be singing a different tune...perhaps one by Green Day. As it stands, the Rock Band Network is my most-anticipated RB development in 2010.
From the Kotaku article, it looks like no other Final Fantasy game has gotten a 40 either except FF12. Big deal! That just means it's still one of the highest-rated in the series. I'm gonna get this because I dig Final Fantasy and it looks like a blast.
I think what they mean is that when the rechargeable battery in the PS3 controller finally craps out and is unable to hold a charge, you can't replace that. A concern, but I don't think it should be a deal-breaker.
