I think if you turned all those > into <, that list might be accurate. I started with RE1 then played RE4 then RE2 and RE5. RE1 is good at what it does but that formula only works for one game. RE4 is God's gift to gamers, RE2 had an interesting story, but it was less scary and the gameplay wasn't up to snuff. RE5 was different but very fun in a do whatever you want newgame plus forever kind of way.
I like David Bowie's version of "Let's Spend the Night Together" on Aladdin Sane. I also like Todd Rundgren's remake of "Never Never Land' on A Wizard, A True Star. Todd did do a spot on cover of Good Vibrations to the point where it did just sound exactly the same. I think he just did it to prove he could do it.

I don't hear Rubber Soul mentioned as much as others, but when I started really listening to Beatles albums I was surprised how good and consistent it was. It instantly became my favorite. So basically I agree.
"Computer Information Science... I want to develop video games." Wait, what? Isn't CIS database management and design? Maybe I'm thinking of Computer Information Systems.
" @AgentJ: No he doesn't. It's Fire Emblem 7 & 8. "
Well don't I look fucking stupid now... Well at least I can tell someone else off: @hamlaser said:

Zeldas aren't RPGS There, I feel better now "
You got a sword. You go in dungeons. You role play as a fruitcake wearing a skirt. RPG lol. "
This is true. In Tetris you play the role of an invisible hand that moves blocks. In Burnout you play the role of a self driving car. In Guitar Hero you play the role of a Guitar Hero. You play roles in all game, now all games are role playing games! What now?!
" In their defense, this game contains lots of touches that you don't get on other music games either. The attention to detail, the cutscenes, the crafted backgrounds, and the unlockables are all enough for me to let a 15-song deficit slide. However, I would have loved to have access to all those songs you mentioned. "
Not picking on you or anything, but a lot of people seem to be enamored with the "little touches" and I honestly can't understand that is pushing this game into unmitigated praise. Legit criticism of Beatles Rock Band that often goes unmentioned: Only 46 songs, most of which are 3 minutes long and easy. The early Beatles catalog is not as interesting as the latter stuff. The dreamscapes make notes harder to see, and the lag calibration is sort of crappy.
Scott Walker. Seriously, Scott Walker. Tilt and Drift specifically. Brian Eno is also great, and Captain Beefheart if you're looking for weird but awesome.
