List of the RPG's that Made me the gamer I am today and those that continue to inspire me to level up! As well as some of my favorite characters, places, and concepts from these games that make me look forward to the sequels (because there will ALWAYS be a sequel). NOTE: Not in any particular order past the first ten or so.
The Ultimate RPG as far as I'm concerned. Probably played more than any game in history.
Except for maybe this one.
Beaten it too many times to count. Tried to find every secret boss, collectible, and Easter egg. Replayed so many times just to see the gorgeous cut scenes at the end.

Played it on several different consoles/emulators/portable devices. One thing is for sure. This game will always be one of the best in the genre.
Loved it, loved everything about it. For those who are too obsessed with the prior installments to become enthralled in this marvelous game, I pity you.
The game that started my love-affair with Bioware.
Actually got in a fist fight over my copy of this game once. True story.
Sure it predictably Bioware, but it's fun as all hell and showed that they still have what it takes to tell a damn good story through and through.

I was so worried about my whole crew surviving that I spent hours mining for random-ass elements in backwater galaxies. That is how you know there is good storytelling involved.
Simple RPG fun, but not so simple that it hurts my brain. This is still probably the best of the series.
I spent hours playing this game, waiting for Sephiroth to attack.
Never did finish this one. I accepted the bounties for too many horrible dragons to progress any further. How embarrassing :(
Most people don't remember this one, but it introduced me to raising and battling monsters even before I got into Pokemon.
The only thing I clearly remember about this game is that I was very bad at it.

The city this time. The most confusing labyrinth of a city in any game, ever.
He is wacky and I love him for it. Most of my LOLs in ESIV came from this guy or his insane followers.

I only ever stuck around these guys for the cool Katanas
Their power is endless, but their work is mostly aesthetic. Apathy prevails again.

Admit it. Out of every boss ever, he is the one most likely to send chills down your spine. Because when you fight Sephiroth you know what you're in for.
The only character who doesn't seem to take this game seriously, maybe its because he's Simon Pegg.

People can tell me it wasn't an RPG all they want. All I know is it had skill levels for weapons and vehicles, as well as personal stats (weight, fitness, etc.).
Truly a thing of beauty, way ahead of its time in ways we are still finding out today.
Once they actually get it working I can get back to playing it.

It's there to protect you, like hiding under your school desk or putting newspaper over your heads. All are effective methods for keeping Deathclaws and Super Mutants off your back.
