Just keep in mind that A Link Between Worlds isn't like most other Zelda games in the series. Other Zelda games have you build up your inventory of items as you complete dungeons. ALBW has the ability to have access to most of the items for early in the game. But if you like the top down games, I would recommend Link To The Past, Oracle of Seasons/Ages, and A Minish Cap. OoT and WW are amazing games, and I would play OoT -> WW and maybe Major's Mask if you want to revisit the N64. Everything else you can ignore.
I realize it's been a crazy November, and the Last Canadians just finished their first adventure, but does anyone know if there is going to be more Pathfinder soon? I'm itching for more!
@pr1mus: I remember Jeff talking about looking at the color spectrum of people who are colorblind and people who have "normal" vision saying that the colorblind spectrum didn't look the same as the "normal" spectrum. He said the colorblind spectrum looked different than what he normally sees.
Are you getting a PS4 and Shadowfall on Friday? If so, I would just read up on the lore, it's not like the voice acting/cutscenes of the Killzone games add a ton to the story. If you're not getting a PS4 on Friday, I would absolutely recommend at least going back and finishing Killzone 2. The end sequence is awesome! I don't have an opinion about 1 or 3 though.
My biggest problem with open world games is when navigating the world becomes tedious. GTA V was definitely that for me. I enjoy games like Infamous that give me a fast and fun way to navigate the world. I don't normally finish open world games because I get so burned out just walking around or getting to the good parts.
