I have most of my stuff tucked away from collecting dust in plastic zip-lock bags. A really great way to store cartridges. Although my space for where I play video games is really small, so I have to be space conscious. I plan on getting a PS3 slim for Christmas, however, it sickens me. I have to get rid of one of the following systems from my hook-up, Wii, PS2 or Dreamcast. As of to date, all three are my favorite. If there is one thing to pick up you should from the Virtual Console, pick up Space Harrier, the Arcade version. I hate the ports on the Master System and Genesis. It feels like the real deal. The only thing that could make it better is if you got hori stick or something to give a bit more of an arcade feel.I played the Demo of "My Life as a Darklord" which seems like a fun game. Although it certainly isn't everyone. It also comes with a steep price tag apparently. I was also wondering, which Zelda clone should I get from the VC, Neutopia or Beyond Oasis? "
I'd say go with Beyond Oasis. Also, I had no idea that they put out the arcade version of Space Harrier for the VC, that's pretty fucking sick! I'm planning on getting a couple of hori sticks on the xbox360, though... just simply cause I have MvC2 on there... so maybe i'll just wait till Space Harrier comes to Xbox Live Arcade... It's wayyy overdue... "
This is an arcade perfect version ported version of the game. Unless you feel that the game is outdated. The best home version of Space Harrier before this version was on Shenmue, and the music wasn't quite there. Compare.
