I'm a professional bodymodfication dude for many years, have piercings, tattoos, scars, implants, all kinds of stuff. That said here's what I think.

I don't meet a lot of "nerds" and video game people like me at work. Maybe a triforce tattoo here and there. Most of the clients (aka normal people) don't like nerdy stuff too much, especially the more extreme things like cosplay and dudes staying inside the whole weekend playing WoW and eating bad stuff. They are the implants of video game people that gross most "normal" people out. As I'm stuck in the middle of things I hate seeing replies in these kind of threads. Just fucking let people do what they want to themselves. Most people look at your video game hobby like it's the most childish and stupid thing to do and I bet you don't like that. If some dude has bumps on his arm, big deal. Who cares. Atleast this guy would probably not look at you and go "what a manchild" as some other people might.

As for the implants, they're not uncomfortable. They're most likely pretty soft silicone half balls and the skin on the arm is pretty loose so they can move a bit. They won't change his ability to function if all goes well and it usually does. It doesn't hurt more to hit them when they're healed than it hurts to hit your arm without implants.

I quit by drinking heavily and smoking way too much. Next morning I had a couple cigs left so I tried to smoke 'em, but it was so bad and disgusting I threw them away and that's it.

Blur. Couldn't stand Far Cry 2. Blur was kinda fresh and fun while it lasted.

Geometry Wars 2. Smash TV was awesome, but I haven't played it in a while.

I've tried Dwarf Fortress, even with bunch of tutorial videos, but it's too much for me. X-Com I learned how to play and was decent at it so that's my choice. Also maybe Nethack and bunch of other roguelike-games, but I was never any good at them.

Trying to cut down on caffeine so at the moment I'm a tea man.

You must buy a game, other one is a 7.5/10 scoring 15hr long FPS and the other one is a masterpiece 10/10 FPS, but only 4 hours long. Which one?

I would buy them if they'd be considerably cheaper. Like steam with it's sales. If it's only a bit cheaper and I have to worry about downloading it and stuff, I'll get the real one.

I've bought back some old NES and Megadrive/Genesis games that I had when I was a kid, not sure if that counts.

2x NES, 2x PS2, 2x Megadrive, 2x 360. Might buy a third 360. Also I'll never ever sell any old consoles again, it's a bitch to find them back.
