I watched the whole thing and what stood out the most to me was the music. I will be getting the sound track at least.

MS has a ton of options. But, right now the biggest impact could come from the big publishers. If they turn around and say PS4 games are 10 bucks more (70) because they are losing money to resales. Then say XB1 is 10 bucks cheaper (50) because every sale is money going right in their pockets, it would have a huge impact on sales in the long run.

Plus all MS has to do is have another option for payment. MS could say something like, you can buy a XB1 for 150 down with a two year payment plan and now its half the price at launch then PS4. That would pretty much put them on even ground again.

What tier did you go for if you don't mind me asking?

I went King. If I had more money at the time I probably would have went with the dungeon crawler tier.

Thought I would start this thread to see if any Bombers what to start up a guild when Hex comes out.

For those of you that don't know what Hex is its a TCG (Trading Card Game) that will blend elements of RPG's (your hero and cards can lvl up and get gear) and MMO's (there will be PvE raids and dungeons where you can group with others as well as an Auction House) into a deep card combat system. And, of course there will be PvP. The Kickstarter campaign ended on June 7th, and the game is hoped to be released some time is September.

I am really looking forward for Hex. The last few years I have picked up the Magic the Gathering games but really disliked the fact that I couldn't build my own deck. Granted the new Planeswalkers will have a limited deck building mode (called Sealed Play where you get 6 booster packs and try to make a 40 card deck) it won't have a full on make your own deck mode.

I am currently playing Might & Magic Duel of Champions (another TCG) and it's alright. I am just not to keen on how combat works. You can only have 8 creatures out at one time and they have to fight your opponents creatures in the same row before doing any damage to the Hero.

The RPG elements in Hex are the main reason I backed the Kickstarter campaign. So if any of you guys are interested leave a post here. I will not be a guild master just to let you know. That job will be for someone with a lot more free time then me.

I played over the weekend and got to 20. Combat is fun and is like Michael pointed out, more like an action game.

With no cancel button you can't just button mash and expect to win. This is ever apparent in the newly added PvP. You have to pick your skills usage wisely. With there being only 8 skills each skill you decide on is important. I used a third party program to get my Xbox controller to work with it. I did have a few issues in groups where I had to use the keyboard for loot, but other then that it worked great.

Speaking of PvP it was enjoyable and look forward to seeing what other mods they will come out with.

The player created quests showed great promise. I found myself playing them as much as playing the quests made by the dev team.

Crafting wasn't in the game and the AH wasn't much use at all (the latter is to be expected with it being only open for 3 days)

The visuals of the game are serviceable enough. It's not like you should ever look for Crysis 3 graphics from a free to play game. That's not the idea. The best part of the visuals take place in combat and for me that is where they should be.

The state of the game in this beta gave me the impression that open beta won't be more then a few months from now. And, with the current open beta trend, it will most likely be a quasi full game open beta. Meaning they will take your money for things and what ever you get you will keep when the "full" version of the game is released.

If your into the fiction of Faerun you will get a little extra out of the stories. But if your not familiar with the lore the game doesn't beat you over then head with terms you won't understand.

If your looking for a western fantasy action rpg with fast combat this might be the one for you.

I got a beta key from MMOBOMB they have a lot left if your still wanting one. the only bad thing is you have to register with them to get the key.

I played this a lot over the last 8 months. It was a ton of fun. Sad it never even got out of beta. I wonder if its a money thing or the fact that Sega got the Warhammer license. From the sounds of it they are moving on to something else. "we were able to make great inroads and insights" Good Luck to all the devs
