Wii U List: Physical Edition

List items

  • This port came bundled with Bayo 2 and its a stellar version with some added costumes. Still an amazing game.

  • This was the deciding factor that made me get a Wii U. Its the pinnacle of the character action genre and one of my favorite games of all time.

  • Not a very good WarioWare game, but a pretty solid showpiece for what the gamepad can do. Still has loads of that WarioWare charm.

  • The NSMB line plays it too safe in my opinion. They're all solid games, but they don't have the same spark of creativity the 8bit, 16bit, and 3D games have.

  • NSLU comes closer with its weird time limit and Weegee physics. Plus, it has a cool green box.

  • Part of me misses the weird product placement stuff in Pikmin 2. All the real world knicknacks you could find were pretty cool. The hyper realistic fruit and vegetation are good consolations though.

  • It looks like an animated MTG card and you can fight toad monsters as a goth viking girl. 10/10

  • Strike the earth. Dig for glory. I couldn't resist the amiibo.

  • Its all the fun of an online shooter, but the worst you have to worry about is passive aggressive Mii posts floating above fashionable hybrid cephalopods. I would really love an expanded single player portion, that final boss fight was where it was starting to get really good.

  • I haven't even opened this.

  • Its Star Fox, I dig it. Mostly bummed they just retell the Andross stuff in most of the games, there's plenty of room for new characters and stories.

  • Its just cool to play as Peach again.

  • More's been said on this site than I could say about this game. I just really like the design aspect of it.

  • I now have 4 games I can play as Bayonetta in.

  • Still in the shrinkwrap, but I'm looking forward to all the fistbumping.

  • Another stellar game, I actually bought this before owning a Wii U and I do not regret it for a second. It has a lengthy and satisfying story with fun characters, really fun combat, and a ton of unique and awesome levels.

The fact that Kamiya and Platinum somehow keep producing masterpieces like this with so little recognition is an absolute shame. The Wonderful 101 is a delightful and challenging game with a surprisingly great story and tons of heart. Wonder Toilet for life.

  • This is one of the other games that sold me on a Wii U, I've only put about 20 hours into it, and I wish the font was bigger, but its a great RPG. I have no idea how they fit a world that vast and detailed onto the Wii U.

  • Its the best One Piece game, but its still just sort of a generic action RPG. Really wish this had a physical Wii U version.

  • It was $10 and came with a Donkey Kong Skymiibo. It actually runs really well.
