It's a crime that there hasn't been another Star Wars: Republic Commando, though I'm not sure I'd trust anyone to make a sequel that retains the spirit of the original now...
I believe the Creative Director of RC went on to become CD of Halo 5 which is shows in the final product being kinda similar to Republic Commando.
That being said, I prefer my squad shooters to be kinds light in management like a Halo 5, Gears or Mass Effect. I mostly like squad shooters because of the team banter and the feeling that you aren't alone in the fight.
Focusing just on getting a certain games MP maps is difficult, since the game has so much content spread across and a 4 year old player base. Best bet is just to pick my game mode, I have very little trouble finding team slayer games when I booted up the game a couple weeks ago
Forza Horizon 3 had some amazing DLC! The Blizzard Mountain DLC brought snowy mountains to the Australian setting and The Hot Wheels DLC installed bright orange tracks and loop-the-loops over the ocean front.
I would love something similar to Hot Wheels again for Horizon 4 again. As for something new the series does a great job with wide open road racing, but besides Edinburgh, city racing is very rare. With that being said I would like to see them add another large city area in DLC to have more street style racing or just expand the existing Edinburgh area.
I would also love them to expand on the non-racing portions of the games, More businesses, housing customization, player customization maybe add a campy story you can play along with..but that may have to wait for Horizon 5.
Honestly the last time I felt this happy playing a game was the intro to Forza Horizon 2.
I honestly belive the Horizon games have the best intros in all of gaming. In terms of capturing the game play and tone you will be experiencing for the next 20-30 hours it's pretty much perfect.
Mine is the 1997 BMW M3 which was my first car irl. However, when I want to do some hill climbing looking for barn finds or it's winter and I need a something a little less slippery I'll switch to the VW Golf R which is my current car. Living in San Francisco I don't get to enjoy driving it as much as I would like also having a stick shift in a hilly city environment can be quite annoying with the constant stop and go traffic we have.
As for seasons I would have to say Autumn, I'm a sucker for those colors. However, I spent quite a while mucking around in the Winter section of the game so when I finally transitioned into Spring the contrast between grey/white colors of Winter and well all the colors of Spring was jaw dropping. I kinda forgot the game could look so vibrant! It makes Spring a very close second place.
Ya, the first time they dropped 'Christopher' I made a 'wot?' face and looked around the room in a panic. They're spying on us o_O
I did the same thing, my first name isn't in the game but my surname is so it defaulted to that. The game just names drops you in such a non nonchalant way, i was confused if i had heard it correctly then wondered where they pulled that data from.
i like the voice acting, it's campy and matches the tone of the game pretty well. Also instead of Anna why didn't they use Cortana, good brand synergy there.
I enjoyed that game more than the God of War games. The atmosphere they created in that game was great, I would have no idea what a sequel to that game would be but another trip through the 9 circles would be OK in my book
