The fourth entry in Sega's Fantasy Zone franchise. Like other main titles in the series, it is a horizontal shoot 'em up game. It is known in Japan as Fantasy Zone Gear: Opa Opa Jr. no Bouken. In every country outside of Japan it was released as just Fantasy Zone, sharing the name of the first title in the series.
