Nero Naoe. Idky but the names Dante and Nero from DMC4 just stuck out to me; and than i wanted to use Kanetsugu Naoe's name from Samurai Warriors, but it obviously doesn't fit.

I used Charlie, partly because I never watched EP 1 of ER and always assumed that was his name, and they hadn't entered it, and partly because the reason I have the game is due to the ER so it's only right to really.

I named my dude 'Birii Buraddo,' which is a combination of the names Billy Kane and Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury.  Then localized.

for my second playthrough, i used the magna name Souji Seta.

I just named my second playthrough character Barry Scott after the Cillit Bang actor's stage name.  I used Billy Mays for Persona 3 and on my first playthrough for P4 I used Vince Shlomi, named after the Sham Wow guy.  The TV personality names make sense in a weird way.

David Snakes, which is also the name of my Mass Effect dude, Oblivion dude, Fallout 3 dude, etc.

First playthrough MC name is my real name.
Starting from 2nd playthrough,I name MC as "lone expert".It means I play solo (no party member) in expert mode.Very challenging even if I use high level persona from compendium but the good thing is,I level up very fast.

David... I can't seem to remember his last name. It never comes up over the course of the game, I think.

I named my guy Light Yagami, like from Death Note. I didn't want to because that was way to nerdy but my younger brother insited upon it. It's alright I guess, it fits. What's strange though is Naoto reminds me a little of L who is also from DN.

I use Xeiphyer Noir, Xeiphyer is my game name/ online username for about everything. And Noir is badass because Black is my favorite colour.

I would use my real name but I feel like the main character isn't similar enough to me. Sometimes the choices you get don't come close to how I would react to the situation. So I find those situations to ruin the atmosphere of the game a bit, so I stick with a made up name.

When I first started P4, I was on a Super Robot Wars kick, so I named him Kyouske Nanbu. Not only was it Japanese sounding, but in SRW Kyouske is a badass main character, so it was perfect...and a little nerdy.

Minamoto Makoto. I completely, absolutely fail at making up character names, so I wanted to pick a war hero or something and name the main character after that guy. Someone had told me that the cool hero from the [Genji: Dawn of the Samurai] game, Yoshitsune, was really named "Minamoto" but that people ended up calling his clan the Genji because you can re-pronounce their name that way. And the instruction manual said that the main character's most important personality trait was that he was "sincere", so Google-search said that "Makoto" is a good name to use for that.
But the Endurance Run has tainted me; P5's main character will probably be "Charlie", lolz.
