What's your character's name?
Marcus Atlas
Marcus: I picked this up as a running gag from the Stella television series that was on Comedy Central for one season before getting canceled. "Who's Marcus?"
Atlas: Developer name
Just started playing after they started doing their endurance run videos.I named my character Kintaro Oe, the name of the ... [more]
wow wasnt expecting some one to name there character after the dude from goldenboy
well i called mine conor niblett simply because im boreing and cant be @$$ed to come up with something else (please keep mocking of my name to a minimum please) also ive grown out of calling RPG chracters things like fu**er and ess in games where they refer to you as prince *insert name here*
Marty McRaper. My complements to Jeff Gerstmann and the Endurance Run for giving me the idea for this name
Fuzi Wuzaru.
I used Fuzzy Wuzzy in Persona 3, so instead of using it again for P4, I just made it sound Japanese. Fuzi Wuzaru. :D
Nero Naoe. Idky but the names Dante and Nero from DMC4 just stuck out to me; and than i wanted to use Kanetsugu Naoe's name from Samurai Warriors, but it obviously doesn't fit.
Kozu 'cause I like the name (I forget where I ran across it, probably some movie) and Otomo after Katsuhiro Otomo, creator of Akira.
This is the name I use in all my JRPGs, so Kozu fought the shadows at Gekkoukan and is now doing the same at Yasogami.
I used Charlie, partly because I never watched EP 1 of ER and always assumed that was his name, and they hadn't entered it, and partly because the reason I have the game is due to the ER so it's only right to really.
I named my dude 'Birii Buraddo,' which is a combination of the names Billy Kane and Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury. Then localized.
for my first playthrough, i used my alias name Jon Furei.
for my second playthrough, i used the magna name Souji Seta.
" I named him Charlie Tunoku. When I got P4 I had watched more than 50 episodes of ER, and any other name would just have seemed... wrong. "Same here. Except I spelled it wrong so I played as Charlie Tunoko.
I use Xeiphyer Noir, Xeiphyer is my game name/ online username for about everything. And Noir is badass because Black is my favorite colour.
I would use my real name but I feel like the main character isn't similar enough to me. Sometimes the choices you get don't come close to how I would react to the situation. So I find those situations to ruin the atmosphere of the game a bit, so I stick with a made up name.
When I first started P4, I was on a Super Robot Wars kick, so I named him Kyouske Nanbu. Not only was it Japanese sounding, but in SRW Kyouske is a badass main character, so it was perfect...and a little nerdy.
Minamoto Makoto. I completely, absolutely fail at making up character names, so I wanted to pick a war hero or something and name the main character after that guy. Someone had told me that the cool hero from the [Genji: Dawn of the Samurai] game, Yoshitsune, was really named "Minamoto" but that people ended up calling his clan the Genji because you can re-pronounce their name that way. And the instruction manual said that the main character's most important personality trait was that he was "sincere", so Google-search said that "Makoto" is a good name to use for that.
But the Endurance Run has tainted me; P5's main character will probably be "Charlie", lolz.
