I really like how Brad and Ryan, who were more bitter about the entire game, enjoyed this game much more than Vinny and Jeff who weren't very vocal about their complaints.

Glad I was able to watch this entire endurance run from the start.  It'll be missed.

Suprised that team BR didn't at least look at the junkyard to see if there's any interesting cars to buy. Not like they will need the money for anything else. Of course that would be a good thing if you actually left town in a car cutscene instead of how it really ends.  Thought that both teams did a good job on the endurance run & no telling when another one will pop up but I'd watch it no matter who it is doing the ER.
 
Have to admit, after playing the game & watching the ER, I'd really like them to put out a soundtrack cd.

I'm glad that Ryan brought up the issue of Harry talking about shooting his wife?  That's the only option you could think of?  Not, say, calling the police?  You know, we have these wonderful things called "mental institutions" these days.

I like how Polly (or even Harry, who must have known) didn't think it was worth mentioning that not only was Kaysen around 50 years ago, he looked exactly the same.

I actually recognize one of the voice actress names (Amy Provenzano), she's Sybil in the Telltale Sam & Max games.

Woohoo! It's all over. My only bit of sadness is that neither team thought to check the leaderboards after beating the game.

Since George said that Harry never knew his father, I assumed that happened decades after the original child abuse.  And that Harry meant he could have done something about Geroge's mom back when George was just a kid being abused in the first place. "

So now we have 3 out of the 4 GB staff swearing off endurance runs forever.  Good job Deadly Premonition.
 
But thanks guys, it was a (mostly) fun ride. At the very least, I'm glad I got to see what this game is all about.

Well, now that the endurance runs are over the withdrawal will kick in soon.  
Thanks a lot GB for my inevitable crack addiction. Here's hoping for a new one, and soon.

Red room: malice, Green room: affection or nurturing or something, Blue: reality, White: a neutral space composed of all three. The twins exist in the green and blue rooms (they wear green and blue always) and this is why they can interact with Emily in the green room, why George wanted them to find the body, and why Kaysen was so interested in them: they are their eyes into the green room. Zach has red and blue eyes because he exists in both the red room and reality.
 
This game does something truly astonishing: Casting the player as Zach, he is unwittingly invested in playing the vulnerable side of York's personality. York always asks Zach what he wants to do next, comforts him, consoles him, educates him, and ultimately guides him to the truth outside the Red Room, which is a metaphor for his repressed malice towards his father. At this point York leaves the player to confront the dilemma that gave him life and meaning.
 
Using schizophrenia to introduce the player to their avatar on screen is bold, but to stick with it and also weave the theme of alternate worlds and personalities and Agent Morgan's personal struggle throughout the whole story and its characters is genius.
 
Well played Swery, you didn't have the money or the tools, but you had the vision.

You know, I have never, *ever* felt the need to shout at my TV, all "Don't go in there!" and such.
But Brad and Ryan has taught me otherwise.
Thank you Brad, thank you Ryan, for 20-some hours of free, wonderful, (infuriating) entertainment of the highest calibre!

Thank you Swery indeed.  I feel like the only thing that man lacks is a budget.  He certainly has a vision.

In terms of giggles and watching the game played without hick ups, I'd give it to Jeff and Vinneh.. But Brad and Ryan's involvement in the story had more more hooked. I'm definitely satisfied with both endurance runs. Thank you guys!

I betcha when DP2 comes out we're going to have another ER. MARK MY WORDS.

@Ryan: Since Zach has been technically 'York' all along, I'm sure that York is, in fact, a federal agent. It's debatable as to how much of that information Zach knows or absorbed via York. 
 
The crazy people were explained: the fog made from the red seeds made them go crazy and kill everyone. The only aspect that wasn't explained was why they appeared in the 'Netherworld', what it is, and why there were so many crazies. Also, why no one but Zach/York could see them.
 
Also, in the beginning of the game, York was explaining Tom and Jerry to Zach. Does that mean that Zach is basically a child in all aspects but body? Hm...
 
Those motherfucking squirrels make monkey sounds. That scene has been viewed 3 times now and neither BR nor VJ have said anything about it.

Okay, ending on the squirrels that sound like monkeys is a great way to close it out. Good show you guys. I'm surprised that Brad and Ryan's relationship survived intact. I'm surprised that anyone survived Deadly Premonition.

I have a suggestion: how about you do an Endurance Run on a game that's actually, you know, good? How awesome would a Dragon Age endurance run be? How awesome would a Fallout 3 Endurance Run have been? I realize that you guys need to review these games, so you can't ER them, but two of you could hold off and ER them instead. Hows that sound? Wouldn't that be way, way more fun?

Thanks for the great/amazing ER. Can't wait for the next ER! Loved the P4 one and loved this one. It baffles me that i spend so many hours watching these ERs but it's really enjoyable.
