Jeff! Vinny! Just to let you know, even though Naoto hasn't recovered yet, and the optional boss not there either, you can actually still go in her dungeon and get her weapon on the last floor. I tried it before. *whisper* it works...*whisper*

There's a mail order on a Sunday. I think it was a Red Goldfish combo. So instead of fishing, you can just order that on Sunday. I don't know exactly the date though.

The bigger fish are only available starting November. There are two types of big fish: "Huge Fish" and "The Guardian". The former is the normal type, while the latter is the rarer type. You can only get the guardian by getting Fox's S.Link to 9; you'll then get a special fishing rod.

You can tell which fish you'll get by feeling the controller rumble (low rumble/short intervals equals to small fish, while deep rumble/long intervals equals to big fish) and by looking at the ripples around the lure (fast ripples/short intervals equals to small fish while slow ripples/long intervals equals to big fish). The Red Goldfish is the smallest fish, which means you are searching for a low rumble/short intervals and fast ripples. If you think the fish that's playing with the lure is not the goldfish, simply recast the lure by pressing the circle button. Careful, you need to press the button before the fish grabs the lure, or else you'll get a "miss" and lose a turn and some bait.

I got a good Persona anecdote: I'm playing P3:FES right now, and I happened upon an Adamant Beetle (weakness: lightning). I cast Zio, we rush. Mitsuru happens to crit him with a simple attack, we rush. Then Akihiko, the other Zio guy, attacks instead of casting, and also crits him, and we rush. The the next guy ALSO crits him, and we rush. Then I Zio, and we rush. So, to sum up: 2 Zios and 3 consecutive Crit hits. Lawl.

Also, that game has a glitch where the healing cups don't heal the party, which is annoying and inconvenient.

     Days that Rise, Kanji, and Naoto are available.  No spoilers.

Rise:  friday, sat, sunday. Holidays & Sundays: shopping District , South

Kanji:  wed, thur, sat, sunday. Holidays & Sundays: Shopping District, North

Naoto: monday, tue, wed, sat, sunday. Holidays & Sundays: Samegawa Flood Plain

 I suggest once you start Naoto you complete her first before doing any one else besides Rise and Kanji.
 If you are able to not get the bad ending you will have more time to finish some social links but not Nanako's.

 If you want to finish Nanako's S. Link you have until the end of October !!

You need to MAX Nanako so you can fuse a Norn, which is one of the best Persona in the game. Without spoiling anything, lets just say Nanako's deadline is soon, so chill with her every chance to get. You'll be glad you did later on in the game.

 I suggest working on your knowledge and courage for Naoto, Nanako when she is open talk to her, Rise when you can, Kanji is the lower priority but you want him at 10 at end when there is time.

 If done correct you should have Nanako, Dojima, Yosuke, Kanji, Rise, Chie, Yukiko, Naoto, Sayoko, Teddie, Investigation Team, and Seekers of Truth by the end of the game if you get the true ending.

 You may be able to even get Yumi and Kou to rank 10 but they are on the back list till you get every one else for they are not as important. Forget the Young Mother day care for S. Link and money and just do Sayoko for the money and her S. Link.

 Once Nanako is complete and you have max knowledge/courage for Naoto you can go fishing at night when hospital is not up so you can do the Fox quest later.  I hope you guy's read my post and that they are helpfull.

 I want you guys to do the best at Links for it is the fun part of the show listining to your commentary :)

They really only need one Light and one Dark Persona.  Or, maybe they don't.  The game won't tell them what monsters are week to instant-death until they max out Rise's Social Link.  Even then, they've gotten along fine without always trying Hama/Mudo, and Rise can't tell them everything."

Not only that but Norn is only weak to Electricity, absorbs Wind, and blocks Ice. It has Debilitate, and that is a godsend later in the game. Also, since Vinny and Jeff are such big fans of Invigorate... Norn has Invigorate 3.

Guys, try to ace the exams for once :D (the gifts you get from nanako/dojima are usually worth it).

Can't remember if you needed rank 4 or 5 in knowledge for this upcoming one, but as mentioned you should try to max out knowledge (and courage) asap anyways.

Heh, I actually checked about the goldfish.  You can get them on the shopping channel!  Want to know which day?  October 2nd, the one you just missed.  I know, it "amused" me too.

Really, you're not doing anything wrong with the fish.  It's just chance which ones you get.  They encouraged you to do it on a sunny day because the usually good fish, notably the Huge Fish, only come out on rainy days at this point in the game.  But you can get the crappy red goldfish any day.  So if you want to fish again, for God's sake, don't do it when you could be raising an S.Link.  Wait for a quiet night when Nanako and the increasingly less naughty nurse are around, for example.

To further enhance your chance, when you fish, watch the speed of the ripples and the vibrations on your controller.  In general, the bigger the fish, the longer the gaps between ripples/vibrations and the stronger the vibrations.  A goldfish's will come very quickly.  If you get one that feels longer, just press the circle button before the fish bites to switch to a different one.  I know, all of this is tedious, but the game didn't anticipate people making videos of it and refusing to reload if they get fish they don't want.

They don't half learn a lot of pub-quiz trivia at that school.
