Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 150

Jeff already knew about the Gas Station Attendant's importance because someone posted links to him to a P4 parody comic that he wasn't pleased about, he posted about it in a Giant Bomb status update. The first panel spoiled that the Gas Station Attendant would be important somehow. But the comic doesn't say how the Gas Station attendant is relevant so how much Jeff knows going into the True Ending is unknown.
 
I've never done the True Ending myself and I don't know what's going on so hopefully Jeff doesn't either.

I can't believe they got it.. so lucky they hit square instead of just hitting X on the door. But hey, not complaining too much, don't have to watch them replay all that just to get the true end.

Second half of the endurance run just started

I think if they knew they needed to go to the food court then they are very good actors. Not only did they go about checking the book shop and other places AFTER they received the message telling them to go home, but they were about to leave Junes until the realized that they could go to the Food Court. Perhaps they were doing all that just to throw us off, but if you take that tact it starts to sound like a conspiracy theory. 
 
What's more likely is that Jeff knew there was something more to solve and maybe encouraged Vinny to not return to the house. But I doubt he knew the specifics and the surprise Vinny showed when he noticed they could visit the food court makes me think that at least he didn't know.

Anyone remember when they ended an episode because they didn't know who to talk to to open the next dungeon, and the next episode started with "Ohhai we didn't check the practice building let's go there now"

You guys are crazy. Absolutely crazy. The end of the game was right there, but you have to go above and beyond the call of duty. This game will never end, because nothing stops the Endurance Run motherfuckers! Oh, just crazy.

Did the square-button menu in Junes always include a "Food Court" option?

To say that the only way a normal person would get the true ending is by reading a faq is a pretty ignorant statement. Obviously the people who wrote the faqs must have figured it out by themselves. Certainly most probably figured it out by trial and error but some probably did just by being methodical (there aren't that many places in Inaba that can be explored after all). There are enough hints after the Adachi dungeon (i.e. Max judgment persona was unlocked without a way to fuse it, no way to sell your materials, etc. unless there was another dungeon left) for any reasonable person to figure out that the game hasn't truly ended yet. Also I always felt that the farewell events were similar to the investigation events carried out earlier in the game (and at the end of those, you would always end up going back to Junes) so heading to Junes after those events were over didn't seem that arcane to me. It's pretty crazy how using logic actually works when playing a game.
 
Anyway, now that they've started the true ending route, the end of the endurance run is definitely within reach. It kinda makes me sad.

Jeff seems to know how to get the true ending and was trying to get Vinny to get it without spoiling it for him or making it seem too obvious.

Wow. I can't believe there's more to this game. I can't say I'm disappointed. I don't know where I'll turn when the Endurance Run is over...
