Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 51

Meh, sod all happened in that episode. 1 day passed, 1 quest accepted, 1 social link scene and only 20 minutes. The reason the episode was so short is probably due to Jeff coming to my the UK, but that doesn't change the fact thiat this is one of the worst episodes, if not the worst, so far.

At least episode 50 was great. And, on another plus note, I was glad to see Vinny check to see if he had the right persona before he did a social link - I sense progress.

By the way, you need to speak to Chie to get the snack for the fox quest.

Rise is one of my favourite characters, I'm glad you've made it this far. Time to ditch Chie, both as a relationship and when exploring dungeons. Definitely use Kanji at least for now, his Persona is currently a lot stronger then anyone else's.

I just know I didn't laugh once during the episode. I rate an episode based on how much it amuses me, so...

The shortest episode I remember is 15 minutes. I could be wrong though since I marathoned the first 30 or whatever episodes.

Not to spoil anything but some real zingers happen after the next dungeon. Minds will be blown.

A short but still great episode. Due to Jeff being out of town (country in this case) this and the next 2 or 3 will be shortened but i hope they come back to the 30 plus minutes episodes. For me, longer the episode greater it is. I don't think they are going for shorter episodes because of what happened in 50.

The spell names were never in Japanese to begin with, so translating them would be pointless. And do you really want them to change the character names? Please no. I'm guessing you're not familiar with the original Persona game, which Atlus toally overlocalized.

I really can't argue the point.

Regardless, the name doesn't have any negative connotations like that in English. And in Japan it's just a name, one that returns 44 million results on Google.

I can't wait to see Vinny and Jeff's reaction to Rise's dungeon and all of what happens in it specifically the boss.

Also for anyone thinking they may have seen Rise earlier she was seen once briefly in a commerical for a soft drink in the cutscene heavy first episode.

seems rather slow to play it alone, glad its being done this way Vinny and Jeff make it hellah better, keep it up!

Persona 4 does actually have some great one liners. I also like 'You begin to suspect that this bowl is a portal to the Meat Dimension.'

Never drop anybody, ever (ok maybe the very last dungeon on the True Ending).  Swapping characters mid dungeon saves on SP since incoming characters have full SP.  You'll get farther in one day.  And EXP scales so you aren't losing out on high levels by doing this.

The item that's required for the quest cannot be obtained until the quest is started. It's not slimming food.

Solid episode. Prefer it when they stay around 20 minutes. I mean, every episodes great and all but I just don't got the time!

Alright, I wasn't going to do a second play through of this game for at least another few months, but watching this daily has finally cracked whatever resistance I had left.  2nd play through starts tonight!
