For that guy who was looking for Tony Hawk's-like games, I think the SSX series actual feels fairly similar.

I played a bunch of that Disney skateboarding game with my little brother, and a decent amount of it was suuuuper broken. You could stay balanced at the top of any halfpipe/thing you could grind on without any challenge and just get billions of points. Multiplayer matches came down to us just sitting at opposite ends of the map, lifelessly grinding the points away.

SSX Tricky and SSX3 are the best sports games ever and I am appalled that Jeff can't even remember the name of the series.

I'm not really sure why but I played X-Games Skateboarding on PS2 more than I played tony hawk...pretty similar games from what I recall. I also really like the Dave Mirra games, so I might suck at these things.
