Man, it's been so long since the vanilla budokai games I'm watching this to remember what it looks like...

I haven't started watching yet, but if this has another fight of Raditz and Nappa I think I'm going to cry.

Wow, Budokai 3 looks like it holds up a million times better than the first game. Everything looks super flat and boring in the first one.

I am the only one who exclaims "Vinny!" every time he sees his name in the description of the video? Also I want to throw my hands up in the air while I'm saying it but never do...

These DBZ games were some of my favorites to play growing up.

Budokai 3 is the greatest DBZ game and if you think otherwise you are a bad person or a child.

Also I already know this will be one of those quick looks I'll be freaking out about while watching because they are playing it wrong.

The thing is, Budokai 2 is better than 1 but completely pointless when you have 3.

Hearing this all in English is trippy, the UK version was Japanese only with hillarious subtitles.
Goku calling the man who killed his friends a big meanie, and Vegeta calling Cell an Aunt Sally after he almost kills Trunks was great.

Also: Youtube has some overly protective copyright bots wherein even using royalty-free music at times can be considered a copyright infringement just because some news network decided to copyright a video they posted on Youtube wherein they used the same song. It's just fucking ridiculous. Will Smith (not the actor) has even complained about this A LOT.

I don't know if my brain can handle an hour of DBZ. But I am about to find out.

Watching this again, I have to say I don't agree with Ryan. I think the series was at it's best around Boudokai tenkashi 2 or 3. They feel MUCH more like Dragon ball z fights then this, which is still trying too hard to be a tradtional fighter with combos.

I am amazed that Ryan knows more about Dragon Ball's lore than Vinny. Always thought that Vinny is the super (crazy) fan.

Budokai 3 is actually pretty good. I'll play it someday :)

I still want a good game of original Dragon Ball, not Dragon ball Z just Dragon ball where goku is a little kid, no not Dragon Ball GT just Dragon Ball. I like the japanese intro more than the american one.

To all the people calling the Youtube situation a false takedown. "AB Groupe" as they are known by their french name do own some rights to dragonball in the UK. They dubbed/rewrote some of the movies... REALLY badly. Pretty sure they also have some distribution rights.

But still, they shouldn't really be targeting everything like this. This isn't the first time they've done this, they seem a bit overly aggressive in "protecting" their right.

At least there's always the GB hosted version.

Gotta say, of all the DBZ QLs there's been, this is the first one that made me go "maybe I should check out what this whole DBZ thing is about".

Budokai 3 is still the best Dragonball Z game and the fact it is 8 years old and still looks fun to play speaks volumes. I wouldn't say all the games after it were hot garbage as Ryan said (I thought Burst Limit was pretty good) but they are not as good as Budokai 3!

I don't care what anyone says. I liked Budokai 2. I really liked the crazy board game story mode. And I think it's bullshit that it isn't in this collection. BULLSHIT, I SAY!

Also, there's going to be a new DBZ movie in 2013.

I love how Vinny's Goku and his Columbo aren't that different.

I think Dragonball Z is okay, but I really wish there were more good One Piece games

So yeah, what about Budokai Tenkaichi 3? What's the difference? Admittedly, I don't know much about the Dragonball Z universe but, at the time, I remember it being labelled as the true DBZ game and having a lot of fun with it. Damn, there are a lot of these games.
