Let's not kid ourselves. Much about MMA is extremely homoerotic. But that doesn't mean you always have to go there. And if you DO always go there, it says more about you than it does about MMA.
 
Anyway, this was surprisingly entertaining to watch. I may have to put this in the ol' Gamefly queque.

I am impressed at how beatiful the animations look. Don't have much idea of how it plays, other than how Jeff describes it, but it looks amazing.

Also, this game looks alright. Not much different from the demo, which IMO, was pretty bad. 
The animations look really good and better than UFC's and the career mode looks a lot more in depth. 
However, the Total Punch Control does NOT work with MMA. It's way to confusing switching back between characters with different move-sets and kicks and punches.  
And why is it that strikes seem to do absolutely NOTHING in this game. I play online and fucking everyone just goes for takedowns and all I do is just try to get on top of him? WHEN I PICK FEDOR OR OVEREEM I WANT TO KNOCK THE FUCK OUT OF SOMEONE, NOT LAY N' PRAY.

The game looks good, but I don't really get MMA, watching dudes grapple isn't all that entertaining, I think. Hit, kick, that's the stuff.

I really want to get this but I'm so afraid I'm going to get it and I'm going to end up completely sucking and I kinda want to get a new version. Maybe I'll buy a version on Amazon since they are selling it at a pretty good price but, still, I'm a bit skeptical. Doesn't help that there doesn't seem to be a demo on XBLA either...
