Quick Look: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta

This DLC seems awesome, though I kind of want to wait for the QL before getting it. Just incase it's broken as they tend to be..

I beat the DLC today, didn't take that long. Out of all the DLC´s this is amongst the most boring ones. Its very shooter heavy, no real exploration at all. And you will be shooting the same aliens over and over again.
 
The new alien weapons are pretty boring, and feel like your just shooting your regular plasma rifle, but with another sound. 
 
Almost forgot, i had severe frame rate drops in it too.

Will the awesome content ever end?

Having literally just finished this DLC I can say I'm very dissapointed by how Bethesda's decided to end the expansions. Up until Mothership Zeta they've been getting progressively better, but this is far too combat heavy and is effectively one never-ending corridoor with little to no highlights. Happy for a quick look however!

Looks alright but i am gonna have to pass.

bummed to see all of the negative reviews... oh well there's still a few quests left for me to do in the wasteland

I wish I could get this, but I just don't have the money to get Xbox LIVE again and this at the moment.  :(

The boys got the short end of the stick? Obviously, you two have never played as Bushwald Sexyface.

to be more accurate, the DLC has some exploration stuff about midway through, but it is for the most part linear. It's pretty great overall, although pretty disappointing for the last DLC.

I've always wanted to see what the Fallout version of Earth looked like after the war. I remember that being on of the first things that came to mind when I first heard of this DLC, and that's pretty awesome. We'll finally get to see what England looks like after it got blasted to hell.

I just beat the Mothership Zeta DLC and feel okay about it. It was a little to short, missed some of the side stuff, but thought it ended with a bang. 4 out of 5 stars.

If you look it up online, there's a way to glitch your way into the citadel from the beginning of the game.  I had power armor no more than 10 minutes after I left the vault on my second playthrough.

i wanna see the commonwealth too. :( maybe an andriod rebellion quest or something.

They sure put out a lot of expansions for Space Oblivion; was that  game actually popular?

just fyi, those aliens and that spaceship was already there in the core game. It's where you find the alien blaster and a pile of ammo for it. It has a few aliens laying dead around it.
 
Im real glad i bought Fallout 3. Buyin a bethesta rpg nearly guarantuees longass gameplay, addons & mods. Three thumbs up.
