This game is unplayable on iPhone.

I remember this, it was a flashgame like 5 years ago.

This does not look like fun.

It's always nice to see new content on the site, and I know the early portion of the year is slow where game releases are concerned, but I'm still on the fence about these iOS game quick looks...

Seems on par with going to a site like Newgrounds and quick looking flash games. They're all worthy of peoples attention, but it still seems odd to me.

well if people don't watch them then im sure they will just stop doing them due to lack of interest.

iOS games suck for quick looks. It's dumb because you can't see the touch points, it seems that the game is playing itself.

I'm not saying they should just show iOS games with someone filming them using the devices, but these two reasons are why iOS videos are dull.

I don't understand the buzz surrounding this game. I'm at level 75 and it's not that amazing, some of the levels I'd say are even lazy or bad. I guess it's what a good campaign does to an OK game.

So many losers complaining about free content...Jesus, the Giant Bomb crew have talked about various iOS games for years, and now they finally have a capture kit. The whining...

Do not buy this for iPhone, as others have said. It's way too frustrating on the small screen.

I was a bit disappointed with Hundreds. Aesthetically it's great, and I like the idea behind the gameplay, but its execution falls short. There are a handful of really cool levels, but the majority are either too easy/uninteresting as it walks you through new mechanics or they are a chore to play (any level with sawblades or disappearing bubbles).

I beat 92/100 levels and have no desire to play more. Not even the unlocked endless mode. I'd put Hundreds in the 'decent but not great' category of games.

Numbers rise when touch points are activated... Seems pretty simple to follow.

5 minutes into the video and I'm still not really sure what the rules are.

Brad really doesn't seem to like explaining how to play the games unless someone asks him to do it. Usually the other person will play dumb and ask Brad to explain what he's doing and why, but Patrick doesn't seem to be doing it. Maybe they'll explain it later in the video though. Time to keep watching.

@SuperSambo: yeah man, i don't get it. there is nothing on the screen to indicate where he is pointing, i think if they do ios games further they are going to need to explain step by step what is going on when they do it. an introduction before the quicklook begins.

I don't care if giantbomb does quick looks of iOS games. But apparently some people do care, and really want their opinions to be heard, sarcastically or otherwise. Oh well, more videos on the sites = more views.

This really does look like the opposite of fun.

I don't think I would enjoy playing this for more than five minutes.

This... was a QL I skipped through.

I do not understand people's love of this game. It is the most basic trial and error style "puzzle" mechanic that just has you redoing levels over and over and over until you happen to get it. It's just not fun.

You can tell Brad is super frustrating with it while he's playing it from all the UGHS and such.

EDIT: I take it back. After watching this Quick Look, I'd say that my old Duck Tales or Aladdin handhelds are much more rewarding and challenging games than this "game"

It makes me sad to see a bunch of people who have supposedly made gaming their hobby effectively dismiss a huge portion of that market for the flimsiest of reasons.

Man, watching Brad do the exact thing over and over as he continues to fail makes me want to slap that iPad out of his hands. I hate it, but I love it.

@Pudge: Considering a puzzle game like Hundreds is something that they would have done a video for if it was on Steam, I don't see why it is so terrible for them to do if its on an iOS device. It just seems like that annoying internet bit about "real" games. It's a video game and they do videos of video games.

They have done Quick Looks of 10,000,000, Spaceteam, Angry Birds Trilogy, Splice, and plenty of other games that could be considered similar to Hundreds in their puzzle-like quality, being on mobile devices or primarily using mouse or touch for controls.

Also, I would totally watch some Tiger Electronics games.

And other games are horrifically dull to watch if you can't see the controller?

This is some damn good graphic design.

I suppose I just find a demonstration of a 60 dollar game more valuable to me as a consumer than a 1-dollar diversion. But hey, if all you want from this site is watch other people play video games, awesome for you.
