i am amazed that they are continuing to pump these out. with the same mechanics and similar gameplay.

I'm very impressed by the way they handle split screens. Had to adjust for a moment but it's brilliant.

I'm impressed! The Jedi combat animations looks very good. Bravo Lego! Bravo Star Wars!

I played the demo a little while ago ... and, no, unsurprisingly, it's exactly the same. 

These games were kind of fun novelties to begin with, but it's all worn away now and there's nothing left but a game that's not very well designed or especially fun to play unless you really like collecting lots of bits and pieces.

Ryan should check out the Lego Harry Potter game, to me it's the one franchise where the crazy building/destruction made sense & the game was definitely more fun than the Lego Indy games.

Edit: surprised that they didn't put a tall black tophat, monocle & black waxy moustache on the black astromech to push the evil further.

This looks sweet as hell! Of course I haven't really ever played Lego games so maybe it's a good time to start.

This game certainly is not for me, but my six year old cousin will eat it up. I can think of much more worse games that he could choose at that age.

Nice to have Brad back, this looks pretty good, Harry Potter was the best of the series for me.

Like Ryan I found that Indiana Jones just killed my love of the Lego games. My cousin loves these games and well this licensed crap is much better than the licensed crap that I played at her age.

Haven't played since Indiana and agreed it kinda got samey, but there's still a charm to these games.

This and the Harry Potter one released last year are easily the two best.  You could also go back and check out the Complete Saga.. but I'd skip over Batman and Indiana Jones, unless you really love those franchises or can't get enough of the Lego games.  (they're still good, but like they said, feel a bit phoned in). TT Games. Will they not be satisfied until they've released a horrible bland game for every franchise? I understand they're supposed to be for the children, but c'mon. Some standards would be nice.

I am loving the 3DS version, never got into the lego games but after playing this one im thinking about snagging some for the ps3/360

Somedays I wonder why I doubt this game. Then I realise Travelers Tales has really immature childish humour. And the fact their games are usually the same thing. I want this.

I loved Lego Indiana Jones.  It was full of tons of easter eggs and followed the story lines of the first 3 movies(the good ones) very well.  But also that was my first Lego game.

Light saber attack animations look good. Looks like a new game to play together with the girlfriend.

That R2 vs Evil R2/ manned giant robot vs other giant robot part of the level was like that scene in MGS4 with Raiden vs Vamp/Snake vs Metal Gears.  They both had split screen.

Oh man, I need to get back into this! Last one I played was the Batman one, to which I still really enjoyed, but man.. Lego Star Wars is where this series is at its best.

Some of the previous LEGO games already had that split screen. I wanna say Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and Batman all had it. Hell, maybe Vinny and Jeff already experienced it in the HP QL. I'll check.

Edit: Oh okay, Brad played it singleplayer.

Looks more entertaining than the movies, that's for sure.

Being a fan of The Clone Wars series, I'm interested in this. 

Haven't checked out a Lego game in a while so might pick this up. 

The worst part of the Lego games is when you hit a wall and the game provides no feedback on what your suppose to be doing.

The animation on the little Jedi dude/chickdude and the split-screen transition are slick. 

Nice to see that they are still putting some effort into these.
