Also, know you all probably don't read every comment, but I wanted to thank you guys for my loss of productivity when I discovered this site this year. Today marks the day I took the plunge and became a premium member! I can't wait for even more loss of productivity due to new content drops!

You guys need to do this every week.  I love Vinny, Dave, and Drew showing off these more obscure games that wouldn't otherwise get much coverage.  You guys are great!

Really appreciate these quick looks for games most sites don't even mention. Keep up the awesome work.

Heeey. From a sim guy like me, well partly at least, with a full hotas, trackir and all that I find these quicklooks both important and great. Got most of the planes in ROF by now, and I try to play once in a while, although its a bitch to set up. Just a tip for all you simmers, if you havent heard of it already, is these brackets: http://www.joyloc.com/. Not all of us can have home-built cockpits in our homes, so to get those sticks a bit lower with these is a great compromise imho. Have fun guys. See you europeans in the sky sooner or later.

I think that may be even worse than Call of Duty damage-jam. You get blood everywhere, the outside of the screen goes black, and a bunch of oil splashes in your face at random intervals. Cripes.

BTW: You can get a TrackIR set that clips onto your headset, which, while still a bit dorky, is way less dorky than wearing a baseball cap with it on.
 
Personally, I hardly ever use my TrackIR set because it is still kind of a hassle to bother with and there's not a whole lot of support for it. Extremely impressive tech though and it's a real bummer to go back to regular FPS after using it. It really does make a big difference to immersion just to be able to glance to your side while you're running forward (check out the Arma 2 trailers using it), and not being able to do so in regular FPS feels very restrictive afterwards.
 
I think it does have the potential to be the next big step forward in FPS eventually, but only if things like Kinect get to a point where they are sensitive enough to do it accurately without the player having to wear hardware.

lol Drew Scanlon's hilarious, "Hey, Vinny!" at the beginning is a priceless sound byte.

I have little to no interest in playing any of these flight sim games.

That being said I find quick looks of them with you guys endlessly entertaining, so keep it up I guess!

Nor only is this the 1000th, but I've been wanting to see them do a plane sim with all the accessories for a while. I hope this is silly.

I'm kinda getting sold on a track IR... But it is a pretty stupid purchase. But still.... STILL!

I'm probably just being stupid but, if you look behind you using Track IR how do you see what is on the screen? Is the movement greatly exaggerated?

I think the bit at 40 minutes when Vinny and Dave demand drew do a 'quick check' over his shoulder is one of the greatest moments in any quicklook, ever.

Edit- love that head trac system and hell I'd wear a baseball cap. And I was wondering just the other day about how machine guns shot through the propellor..amazing when you think about it..hate for the timing to get off for some mechanical reason... 
 
TThose bombing runs were one of the most impressive things I have seen, everything considered.
