Meh.  The intro is kinda hilarious, seeing Kratos ultimately dominate a woman - a female fighter, but a woman nontheless. Makes him seem all the more ruthless, considering his background.

I know they are on the West Coast but this is pretty late for a QL. Anyways I was never a big fan of the Soul Calibur series but Kratos must have been nuked pretty hard for this game because the range of his blades would be totally unbalanced. But then again skilled players can easily get in close and destroy. I'm still happy with my Tekken for PSP but Dissidia looks more intriguing than this although they are radically different other than being portable fighters using weapons of some sorts.

Cool. Looks like a good portable fighter.

Sigfried became possessed by soul edge and became Nightmare.  At the end of I guess SCII, they became separated and Nightmare became his own entity.

They responded to the 500 people that bitched and moaned about them using the PSP thing last time already. If they showed it with the full video screen the game would look far worse since it is on a handheld stretched out that far. 
 
That is their main reason for leaving it like that...regardless of using a psp skin on a smaller video screen that's the reason. Pay attention next time, and stop bitching.

Well, Soul Calibur on PSP is cool. But needing two PSPs to play it with someone else (locally) is not cool. I don't even have one PSP currently.
 
They really need to fix that about local handheld multiplayer. You don't need multiple PS3s/360s to play SC IV with others, so why should you need multiple PSPs to play Broken Destiny?

If only I didn't still have my shitty wave 1 psp with 32 meg memory stick.
Their just haven't been enough games to warrant me wanting to upgrade yet but between this and a few others coming out I'm very tempted to grab a 3000. But then theirs the pspgo, but its going to be a ripoff price when it comes out. sigh damn you sony for making this more difficult than it needs to be.

Don't get your hopes up about the Kratos fighting style being unlockable. You couldn't make your own star wars fighting style characters in soul calibur 4.

i'm not necessarily the person who is gonna play it, but I think the game LOOKS terrific.

Looks great, and Soul Calibur IV was a quality game... so IF I still had a PSP, I'd totally pick it up.

Just letting you know. You didn't forget to save your last game, you went to new game and created it overtop of your old save.

The Gauntlet reminds me of Dragonball Evolution.

Also the shin pain is a nice touch.

I don't see the point of playing beat 'em ups on a handheld. It's usually only ad-hoc, you can't use a joystick if you want to, it doesn't do anything that a home console version cannot do and do better. This is the main problem with the PSP. If it's just the same game that I played on my console a year ago, but with worse graphics and controls. What's the point?

This makes me so mad. They finally add Kratos in the games, and it's the fucking PSP version.
 
I'm not going to buy a fighting game for a fucking hand held, god damnit.

Well, another fighting game with a story mode that features 'Non cannon' storytelling.
