Awesome, this will be the first wii game I have bought in a while.

The dude in the flying bike house looks exactly like the travelling boat merchant from wind waker. He also has the same "voice", if you can call it that.

...Soundclip? Soundbyte? I don't know.

After playing this in Dolphin there's no chance I could tolerate it on the Wii.. GEEEZ.

Hope it's not boring like Wind Waker. I love Zelda, but it needs a turnover.

I'm anticipating this game being kind of boring, after playing Saints Row, Skyrim, and Dark Souls, I'm not sure what wouldn't.

@Toodles: The game is capped at 480p, that's why it's so blurry

This isn't gonna fool anyone about being played with generations old graphics hardware.

I'll wait for Darksiders 2. I used to love Zelda, but Darksiders made it seem second rate. Suppose I just have more bloodlust as I get older.

Just a small correction on the desert part where there's time stones,  the desert is the present and the lush green environments are the past.    noticed patrick kept calling it the future for some reason.

If any of you have a wireless wii sensor bar and a usb bluetooth adapter, getting this game to run on PC and look really fucking awesome isn't hard. After looking at some of the screenshots that's what I plan to do this coming weekend. I just hope there's a way to transfer my saves from the SD card in my wii. I'm already past the first temple and don't feel like playing all that stuff over again.

You're totally right about that. Darksiders may have copied the formula, but I enjoyed it more than pretty much any 3D Zelda and would put it on par with Ocarina.

This is nothing new however, other characters, like Tingle, have been in multiple Zelda games. It's weird because I always thought Beedle was annoying in Wind Waker, but now I'm kinda glad to see him back.

I thought the combat in Darksiders was tedious -- not as fluid and simple as old Zelda or as refined and sublime as Bayonetta. Kind of a non-starter. Exceptions were boss fights, which I thought were pretty fantastic, but the mundane world enemies were a slog, and the arena approach to dungeon combat was terribly paced.

Pretty fantastic game otherwise, though.

My Zelda should arrive today. I'm very excited.

I'm gonna get the Wii-mote bundle, it will probably be one of the last games I buy for the Wii.

Skyward Sword is the first game in around 2 years I get for my Wii, sad but true. I only need; New Super Mario Bros and Mario Galaxy 2 and after that my enemic Wii collection is done.

Batman AA was a better 3D Zelda-like than Darksiders. But I'll still totally play Darksiders 2 after it comes out. Batman AC seems to have deviated too far from the formula and can wait, as far as I'm concerned.

Arkham Asylum had more in common with Metroid than with Zelda. Darksiders is a pure Zelda hommage but Batman had nothing Zelda-like in it (Arkham City goes more in that direction, though)

Man this game sucks.

Man, it's weird to see a triple-A third-person game without a heavy physics engine and some sort of character animation set that gives the character weight (or that makes them shuffle their feet whenever you do a 180).

@EthanielRain: You know Darksiders 2 is supposed to be almost COMPLETELY different, right? Not very Zelda-like at all from what i hear.

Normally it's actually 720p, this is not, this is a Wii game blown up beyond it's normal resolution, so it looks bad. They can"t help it.

@DeF: Yeah I didn't really include Arkham Asylum in my decision process there because I consider it a different thing. Much closer to something like Metroid, but at this point, it's a one of a kind game.

Yeesh, after a bunch of HD quicklooks seeing a Wii one is rough on the eyes.

It looks fun and I really liked Twilight Princess but this game alone can´t justify buying a Wii again.

I was kind of interested, but after seeing this quick look, I think I'm all set.

For some reason I did the same thing when I played it my self, kept confusing myself. I think the past just looks kinda futury.

The visuals are such trash.... I don't know if its the 480p of the wii converted to 360p flash,, but holy craptacular in the age of HD. That general haze the game creates is extremely off putting to watch.
