I love Tron. It was a great movie when I saw it as a kid and it still stands up today. Is it perfect? No, but it is entertaining and is still cool. I have Tron and War Games for getting me into the world of computers at the age of 11.

I saw it at the theater when it was released in '82. A substance I had taken made the movie glow beyond belief, of course, everything seemed to glow.

Im loving that intro

This is funny because I watched Tron for the first time about a month ago. I still managed to like it and thought it was interesting. I didn't find it boring, but maybe the second time around, I would've.

Great intro!

Brainscan!  Yes... Furlong and Langella, saw it at the theater when I was probably too young to see it, and it warped me for a bit.  That will be interesting.  A movie I will never forget.

The intro to this would be the greatest intro to anything ever if it just ended a little stronger and not on that one weak high note on the musical sting.
 
It needs to last a few more seconds and follow through on that beat and not just end so abruptly!
 
The only reason I'm bitching about this is because the intro music is INCREDIBLE up until the very end.

By the way, Wargames is available on Netflix Instant Streaming right now if you'd like to Tang it up yourself.

TANG is back people! Kick-ass intro by the way, but I must say, I don't like them bricks, I prefer the previous type of bricks that was present in the old office. But they could always re-paint it or something but i doubt that will happen.

I categorically disagree with your take on Tron. The movie absolutely stands up today... both story and effects. Your dis of the effects, the filming in black and white and the blacklight glow used on the costumes is surprising. I still marvel at what the filmmakers created and the imagination that conceived it.    

A++++ would watch again.
